Replacing HOMM2 music

I prefer the HOMM2 soundtrack from the original game instead of the expansion. Is there a way to replace the town songs (I have all versions on CD including the HOMM2 gold pack released with HOMM3, which is what is installed). It seems the game goes to the CD drive to play the songs so I guess I would have to create a custom CD???

I ripped both CDs and discovered HOMM2 Gold is using the origonal town music, not the expansion tunes.

I would still like to find a way to have the game play them locally if possible.

put the original cd while you are playing and you will hear the songs on the cd... I mean run the game with the expasion... the switch the cds

I personally love the expasion ones more

I never tried that...didn't think it would work because the track names are different, even for the music that remained the same.

the name tracks are different as mp3. but as CD tracks are the same...

TRACK1
TRACK2
TRACK3
TRACK4
TRACK5
TRACK6

etc

you can also put your favorite rock&roll disk while playing heroes 2 XD
