Cheat codes - Why? Can they be locked?
This topic has probably been thoroughly discussed in this forum, but I could not find any threads that provided me with an answer.
Cheat codes are so annoying. What is the point with them? They're like trying to swap all your pawns for queens when playing chess while your opponent is not looking.
Still there are many who for some idiotic reason like to use cheat codes when playing heroes. For some, being an expert at remembering cheat codes seems more important than being an expert player.
But my question is: Can one block out cheat codes? So that they cannot be used on your computer? This is of course most important when one is playing multiplayer games, but I would also like to be able to do it when someone is borrowing my pc. I have some nephews that borrow my pc and games when they are visiting. They're using cheat codes, which completely messes up the high score list.
My question is mainly related to heroes 4.

in MP the cheat codes are disabled. for singleplayer i think this can be done somehow too, but i didn't succeed at that

Cheat codes have 2 reasons:
1. To make game easier and be invincible(I hate that part)
2. To make tests and see about game(this is just for development; with this part I'm agree).
