All buildings are technically in the same place, so they can easily overlay each other depending on which building you buy first. While it's not such a problem in SoD/WoG (although there may appear some problems with choosing the building), VCMI has more problems with that and it can even crash because of that.

Happened to me at least 4 times and I'm sure it's 0,0 problem while it never happened with Cove and appeared only once with Forge.

Hi. For those who don't know me - I'm one of vcmi developers.

I'm OK with that but why would you need scripts here? From what I see most or even all creature abilities and hero specials used in Groove are available in vcmi too.

The only problem I see are special buildings which can't be implemented right now. But this is more like a missing feature and unrelated to lack of scripts.

Any steps to reproduce this crash? VCMI should not crash no matter how buildings images were made. Buildings placed at 0,0 should work just as well as buildings placed correctly. Othervice this is a bug.

This may be some not handled by vcmi case or hastily made mod (as opposed to properly made mod). I doubt that this is caused by positioning them at 0,0

I got crashes on VCMI only 1 time - when border file was saved as 24bit and area file - as 8 bit.
And it's not fault of VCMI - it's fault of people, who made these areas/borders for ERA.

Both actually, but yes, it's more fault of people who are too lazy to input some real coordinates instead of (0,0). And it has nothing to do with ERA...

VCMI is not a god.

Besides - I asked you something quite recently, but you didn't answer: how many times do you really PLAY VCMI, not only test it? For me it's almost unplayable at the moment, so why praise it and say every other platform is worse?

Macron, you are annoying, sorry to say. What people, what borders? Both Era and VCMI teams are composed of voluntaries, guys who give from their free time for others, without payback. What you did, sorry? Nothing.

What's this stubborn attitude saying VCMI buried Era, VCMI this, VCMI that? We all wait eagerly for VCMI to be playable one day, but this will not invalidate all the work valuable people did, both on wog and era. Which will survive to VCMI and become complementary.

I am on this forum only week. I learned VCMI modding about month ago.
You can trust me, I did more than enough.
I can share some towns, but they all need some graphic corrections and balancing yet.

PS If you to be heared, it's seems, that YOU wrote Heroes 3 personally, and ERM is a part of original game. You are just not legally using classic EXE variying bytes.

The person having a right to use a copy of a computer program shall be entitled, without the authorization of the rightholder, to observe, study or test the functioning of the program in order to determine the ideas and principles which underlie any element of the program if he does so while performing any of the acts of loading, displaying, running, transmitting or storing the program which he is entitled to do..

Your choice
As you can see from art pack mods you're not limited with H3 abilities (artifacts use the same system as creatures). Good example that scripting is not essential to get new abilities.

It's definitely not load order - it won't change unless you've made significant changes in mod.

I don't have any crashes with Forge but I did found something - vcmi may crash if selection area image is smaller than .def file. If this is the source of crash then it should be fixed soon.

To which of "observe, study and test" ERM script is related?
This is not giving you right to distribute scripts. And I see no "gaming" in "observe, study and test"?

This is "Aristocratic Court Town".
Did someone know about it and where to download?
Search by Rambler and Google didn't lead me to it.
Units are pretty ugly, but screen is good.
I want town to convert to VCMI.

Well, ask him. I think, the only difficult part is to manually enter coordinates for dwellings on townscreen.

I found in some monsters pack at least mounted king and few princesses/princes. So if they will be added with a couple of human knights, there will be cool fraction.

UPD 2 woman froilains are good, and caster in cylinder is also cool. They will stay in my version of town
