Quote: sometimes when i create random map it crashes and says: "file was created"
but i do not know name of that file - so i won't post it here :/
The bug message is printed before this line.
Anyway, could be issue with portal count on XL maps. Already fixed.

Depends on RMg settings. Set monster strength to "STRONG". Rules are the same as in OH3.
Not to mention our test templates are not very balaned. Try Jebus.

Go to your Heroes3(VCMI)/mods/vcmi/mods/defaultTemplates/mods directory. Then you'll see six vcmi templates for random maps. For example open analogy.json file in Notepad. Study first few lines.
"Analogy" :
{
"minSize" : "m", "maxSize" : "m+u",
"players" : "4",
It means that Analogy template allows you create M-sized (with or without underground) random map with only four players.
Analogically open another json templates and learn which templates has limitations and choose best to suit your needs.

Nobody, never announced that v1.00 equals "complete". Where do you guys get this idea from?
Release versions come by 1.0, it's common practice everywhere.

Emule is 14 years old and currently at version 0.50. Firefox is at version 44. There is no rule at all lol.

Numbers like 0.991,0.992...0.9991,09992... also exist for possible next incomplete versions to satisfy everyone...

I certainly don't wanna start an argument over it because that would be childish, wouldn't it? But the fact is you asked a question, granted slightly rhetorical, and I provided an answer. I have chosen my words carefully as there is no mention of a "rule" but common practice, not the same thing. Nevertheless, if you think 3 examples or many more can refute what I said when there are thousands of games and programs coming out as release versions under the 1.0 tag, then you must be in a state of denial. Might it be that you find the reason for such a practice incomprehensible? I trust not. At any rate, you can name your release version however you want, as a creator it's your privilege.

Main problem is what to consider as "release" for open-ended open source project. These "rules" may work more or less for some proprietary software, but for open source they don't make sense at all.

Sure, but in game industry, finished game (the one you release as completed, development continues with patching) is almost always version 1.0. And, of course it is up to devs to mark their releases however they like Just see how Knuth marks Tex versions
I just find it funny that people find it strange when someone connects version 1.0 with some form of finished product.

Beautiful!
Can you outline what all you are planning to have in?
Mmm, brushes? Auto traps placement? Predefined events? Save minimaps option?

There are no plans for advanced map editor features yet, still much work to do with basics. Have some ideas? Welcome to http://bugs.vcmi.eu/my_view_page.php and write feature request in "Map editor" category.

that's a damn good idea. like an "event" placer, but with appearing graphics(like my bear trap idea).
edit:
Dies_Irae said: *Finds a Pandora's Box*
Gryphs said: "Ow! Bad!", casts Armageddon unnecessarily.
another snowing GOOD idea: traps that cast spells on a hero and his army! for instance: "slow" for the hero, "armageddon" for the creatures? CAN THIS BE DONE IN ERM or VCMI OUTSIDE OF A BATTLE?

In VCMI battle spell casting OUTSIDE OF A BATTLE is impossible for now. As for traps, may be I will include in first stable release of map format (vcmi 0.99) custom bonus "reward" for pandora and local event, so you will be able to buff/de-buff hero and his army. (More advanced traps will wait for scripting)
