cool work! i'd like to see forge ready for dl, ever since i found out about it, i thought it was a cool idea. why not futuristic stuff? if they have portals in the game that the heroes can use to get from one place to another, and another portal for creatures to get recruited from the adventure map to the dungeon, who's to say that some kick-ass wizard didn't create a portal that jumps time, to steal technology? it's legit to me.

By the way, I just tried to do four levels dwelling in town and succeded.
It's working! We can make at least 4 units in one dwelling. This means creature with 4 upgrades or a way to make alternatives sell in towns (only limited by max growth).
For example, 1-2 level of dwelling will sell one unit (degrade and upgrade) and 3-4 level will sell alternative unit  (degrade and upgrade).

PS It's mean not to forgot adding 7 or 14 building icons to town-hall.def for 3th or 4th upgrades.

UPD It's possible to make parallel alternatives. But to gain grown first level dwelling of first branch must be builded.
For example, we have Super Dragon for building id=30 and Super Mega Dragon upgrade for id:37. Me then to build line add buildings id=44 and id=51 (id=51 upgrades 44 and requires 30). Than we have two different creature lines, but with common growth.

I see Naga Tank, that I didn't see in vaults. Where did they get her? Or she is drawn by them? Can I have here DEF?

^You really can make alternative units in a town? Sounds crazy, didn't know that

It's good to see some creative modders here. The engine offers probably more possibilities than we though.

The guys are really active recently. First preview of Grove.



I believe that buildings positions still need some tweaking, but that's 12th compatible town. My game has 33% more towns than yours

Oh really, scripts can place dwellings right automatically?
It's only cause of wrong town arrangement by Grove team.
If all developers made towns like Preserve and Covenant authors done, there wasn't any difficulties in manual coordinates selection.
Just place each building on it's place in 800X374 bitmap, and there will be no problems later.

Covenant was also made for ERA, but there coordinates 0,0 were implemented.

Now you will do same work second time.

Let me explain this again:
THIS IS NOT OUR WORK.

Grove is supposed to be on ERA. We are not the authors of VCMI version. It's made by someone else.

We aren't going to release any version of Grove for VCMI yet due to no scripts language. It just won't work 100% properly without them. And we don't care only about having a new town in game. We care about GAMEPLAY.

Oh, and about 0,0 - it's buggy, trust me.
