Every release post includes installation guide:
Quote:
Extract the package into your main Heroes folder. If you have older version of VCMI, delete it first.
WoG 3.58f or ERA is required. We recommend using English version, though VCMI should also work with other language versions. If you want to make your H3 installation English, extract this package into Data/ subfolder.

Ok thanks but i dont now what is heroes 3 main folder.Can anyone put one picture of this folder?

On Desktop or somewhere you should have a shortcut to your Heroes 3. Check its directory. Here you go.

Ok thanks but i run vcmi client.exe and it writes dont find the msvcr100.dll.How can i fix that?

This file is a part of VCMI package and should be in same folder as the whole installation. Just extract the content of package to your WoG/ ERA folder and it will work.

Ok i have copy the files from package into my heroes 3 complete folder and i run vcmi and it works but i dont know how to install mods and i run vcmi client and i start a new game and loading and after that im on my desktop.Please help!!!

Good news for all the WoG haters:
WoG is now fully optional and VCMI can be installed just on Heroes Complete / SoD. All WoG features (and maps) will simply be ignored, so you can play original game with new engine.

But will the monsters and commanders of WOG be implemented as mod?
Or if installed on WOG, these WOG units will still be available?

All objects from WoG are part of wog mod. So they will be available as long as this mod is present. Same goes to all wog features like commanders.

PS In future I then will plan to convert WOG creatures to mod to dismiss WOG.

I want play VCMI without WOG and enjoy H3 on new engine, i copied vcmi to h3 complete folder and get vcmi to crash, when i disable wog in modsettings.json vcmi start and after 5 seconds get back to desktop. It'll new package or what i must to do?
