If there is no cap limit for map dwellings, isn't there danger to instantly win the game once you step in treasure area? I see there 10+ available high level dragons or lords of thunder. On a XXL map this will explode anything.

Better go and try this template (original link here). Reality is, you don't have resources for more than a few monsters.

Is there any chance we can generate maps with VCMI and then import then for WoG/Era? I've been wondering what are those options in Maps4Heroes good for and this could be a way of giving them some use.
I've been dreaming with a XXXXL - BAIx800% map since Leaders release
but those sizes don't look multiples of original Heroes 3 editor maps.

And you will be stuck to negative stats after completing 10% of the map. Really gig maps will only work with VCMI because they have no cap for level up, no cap for creatures numbers and no cap for damage, the three bugs killing any XXL map in vanilla/WoG.

VCMI can't export maps at all atm and when it will, we are going to use custom format.

Also, I don't see a reason to play maps greater than 252x252 for now. Not enough interesting / challenging objects or mechanics to explore.

@Salamandre - Didn't saw that. I still have a lot to try. Obviously this is the reason people like Nautilus didn't went for XXL maps, they would be stucked with negative values.
Sorry, I know this is completly out of topic now but: if I set the maximum experience level for a map to 72, for instance, don't I prevent negative experience levels and primary skill growth from happening?

@Warmonger - Thank you. My idea was exactly replace traditional banks with extreme banks (with fights against heroes with custom secondary skills and spells and exponentional growing armies) but I guess I'm still not ready for the balance issues; even if my ERM level is finally enouch to allow me to code them.

Seiously, I have no idea

Good: Tons of players would come back to Heroes 3 in general
Bad: People won't enjoy old graphics anymore

Also, we should support HD version anyway by scaling graphics up or down.
