I don't understand. I have installed VCMI in a fresh heroes III complete and when I play any map it crash.
"Runtime Error!"
The VCMI_client says:
"Cannot open interprocess memory.
boost::interprocess::intermodule_singleton initialization failed"

I know this is not a really good question but here it s :
Is it possible from VCMI to create a mod which launch the same game separatly and then create a save game when the players met themselves ?
Then, they will have to launch the original game to finish the game.
A bit longer, but it can be faster to code.

First and foremost this project is way cool, my hat is off for everyone involved. I have a quick question though and I apologize if its already been explained. If I download, lets say Horn of the Abyss from the launcher, and it plays perfectly, do I have only the new castle and units, map objects and artifacts or do I have all the balance changes they have done as well (+ negative luck stuff etc.)? And if I have all the tweaks of Horn of the Abyss, what will it mean then if I download another mod and play them together, which also alters some stuff from the game. Thanks!

So is it simple enough...
Install heroes complete
Download In Wake of the Gods
Download VCMI
Then I can download all these new fan made towns i've been keeping tabs on over the years and they will all work? or is there a certain limit to which I can get?

Please someone tell me, I want to play HoTA in VCMI so i can mix them with towns like forge and oasis along the road. Do i get balance changes, negative luck, empty hex targeting and other HoTA specific stuff?

Negative Luck and HoTA Balance are separate mods. Other minor mechanics are generally not supported.
