Can New Object 1.8 exist together with MapEdPatch 3.3?

I mean, is there a ZEOBJCTS.TXT which supports both NewObj 1.8 & MapEdPatch 3.3?

I installed them both and so far there is no problem. Reinstall new_objects_patch_ver_1_8.wog after the patch 3.3 and will work.

But after I reinstall the NewObj 1.8, the new creatures all become "nothing" in the map. Is there anything wrong with my WoG?

Oops, I find out the problem. The new types of creatures in ZEOBJCTS.TXT should be 54 not 0.

Thank you too, Salamandre. If I didn't reinstall the NewObj patch, I won't find this problem.

Well, though I renamed them from "nothing", another trouble came. A large part of my objects were lost. That's a big problem! Gosh!

I finally found out the problem. Now these two things can exist together. I need to upload my ZEOBJCTS.TXT now - but where can I upload it?

The way to rename creatures from nothing - find all the sentences in ZEOBJCTS.TXT like this:

ZMM****.def 011111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 111111111 011111111 0 *** 2 0

And change them to:

ZMM****.def 011111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 111111111 011111111 54 *** 2 0

And then your ZEOBJCTS.TXT will be the one with no problem.

There was a new version of a patch - 1.8fix (by me), and together with it - adaptation to a patch for the map editor 3.3 (Zeobjts.txt)

The new ground terrain is great.

Do you have a link where the whole package can be downloaded?

new_objects_patch_ver_1_8.wog + fix+ ZEObjts + editor patch 3.3. It would be great to have them all in a wog file, otherwise it will be a nightmare for a player to find them all scattered around.

I have all the links. I was asking if would be possible to have them all in the same package. So we can find a permanent link for it. If one could integrate them to the initial WoG install it would be even better.

I can have a permanent link. I can also try to combine new_objects_patch_ver_1_8.wog + fix + ZEObjts but I fear mistakes, as I never worked on those patches. If you can combine them, I will put them on a permanent link. They will be also uploaded to mapsforheroes.com. They are already hosting the old patch.

Did you think at creating a waterfall based ground (gif) and creating clouds out from favorable winds? It would be great.

The new grounds have no bonus, right?
