Btw you were supposed to play 5 games but that will not matter unless Lepas takes 4 games from tower. I'm sure you can finish the games with Lepas within 10 days, then only the finals remain.

Probably because you are not aware of the rules about the chaos finalist. I checked again Tower's score and it seems he has 4 games from Lord Michal making it a total of 7. Lepas has 2 from Pera so even if he managed to win all his Tower games that would be a draw so Towerlord proceeds to finals regardless.
So Tower, feel free to start playing with Mohikanin

Match-ups were:
Inferno(Biara) vs. Academy(Jhora)
I got great artifacts, and sacrificed devils in favour of them(also forgot and bought two types boots), but the sacrifice was worthed and soon the infernals helped by the hordes of gated overwhelmed the academy army.
Sylvan(Ossir) vs. Academy(Jhora)
A very fast, but strangely close one, which got disconnected.. again got lucky with artifacts and sacrificed Treants this time. In the end, blizz conceded because of magic immunity, though he seriously crippled my army until that point.
Orc(Garuna) vs. Haven(Irina)
This one dragged out very long, I went for an ultra defensive stronghold, and in the end it paid of, because of ever increasing rage and attack.

I hear you are refusing Lepas' games Tower? You are supposed to play regardless of the results, as an orderly person I hoped I wouldn't have to tell you that. After all Lepas fought his way here, refusing him the game would be disrespectful.

We didn't actually get to talk, except for some exchanged HC messages, didn't know he wants to play the games for fun regardless of the no real tournament value, if that is the case, sure I'll play him.
Just msn me when I am online... perhaps next week, pretty tight schedule in this one.

I dont think it is just for fun.. If Lepas get more wins over all then the other semi finalist then he moves into the finals.. so maybe if lepas beats you the last couple games it would make a difference?

If its a draw in points then how does towerlord advance? A tie is a Tie... shouldnt they have a 3 game play off for the final slot?

Had he reached his position by achieving the top 4 of his group then yes that would be the case. However winning the chaos cup - through an unbalanced map with less competition and fewer players - is hardly the same achievement as reaching the play-offs the hard way. The reasons I cannot give it the same weight are plain to see.

I thought that Nat or Elvin will kick me out but I've got luck - not enought to win all tournament  a lot of good Tower's game and my mistakes or just bad game - that's short description of the final. We managed to finish yesterday, wanted to provide a description earlier but net started working so badly after I finished the game, I feel lucky I managed to end it actually .
Final games were fun and the whole tournament was really nice, I think I really outdone myself in this one, with the help of some luck mixed around in the potion of course. Since replays are already available I'm gonna write a short description of the games from my perspective.
Game 1: Necropolis (Ornella) vs. Haven (Laszlo)
I went for a defensive Necropolis with lots of shooters, and Dark + Summoning, kinda classic, and my plan was to make the Vampires invincible with Mass Endurance, Mass Dark , Vampirism and Arcane Armor. Lack of mana for Mohikanin made the game look easy from early stages and I played it actually not that great tactically.
Game 2: Academy (Havez) vs. Inferno (Grawl)
I picked this one from the strike-out, instead of Stronghold vs. Haven, because I wanted more variety, though I consider the other one a better choice, and it turned out nicely. Went Light + Dark, in hope I would weaken/strengthen myself and in the end I can pull a Rebirth frenzy. Stats were not that great on Mohikanin and so I was dishing out nice damage with the Academic troops, and the frenzy wasn't needed.
Game 3: Necropolis (Giovani?) vs. Dungeon (Sinitar)
Didn't actually like this hero, but the alternative was his ghost brother, so no point in wasting the money on him. I had Fortress vs. Stronghold and Haven vs. Inferno as alternatives, with some valid battle plans in each, but this one seemed to give more opportunities at the time. Was hoping to get Raven with some nice Destructive actually or to obtain Destructive in leveling, backed up by Power of Speed, maybe Dark or Endurance also. Actually got Power of Speed fast, but only had Fireball as destructive spell and Destructive wasn't showing up, so I decided to go Dark for Vampirism and then Light showed up. I only had Bless/ Cleanse spells, but I decided they were good enough, considering I was getting improved Mass Haste also, maybe even Power of Endurance, which I got in the end, and the Hero was looking really good. Add to that some 50% Lightning resist & 50% Earth(25% actually vs Dungeon, but still..) and things were starting to look up for me. Starting Atb was bad, but I went for lots of HP build, and when Vampirism came into play it couldn't be stopped. Also he didn't have Fireball + Fire + Ignite which could actually hurt alot, though I had partial counter in Cleasing.
Thanks Elvin for organizing this tournament and everyone for the nice games, it was really fun to be in it.

With opposite curses, high necro defense and Laszlo's magic stats being pretty low there wasn't much to be done.
Second game.. Always sad to see a demonlord with higher knowledge than attack but to make matters worse academy also had defense and decent might stats. Destructive is rarely a good idea for inferno, even for breaking the opponent's armour. Tower controlled the game nicely by weakening first and then buffing his troops to speed up the inevitable.
Third was a solid performance for necro  Not a lot I can add, I too would have initially aimed for ignited fireball and fallen back to dark if that didn't work. Light is the kind of instant pick and the results show, then there's fire resistance to be coveted but thankfully for necro, Sinitar had no fireball. I think I'd have aimed for skeleton warriors first in mohikanin's place, easier to kill than zombies and with light/dark already shown it was very unlikely that tower would cast arcane armour on zombies.
Congratulations to both, there was some tough competition along the way It was an interesting tournament with more than a few surprises and cool games, a number of which recorded in the top 100 replays of the season. Unfortunately it dragged on a bit too much so should I organize another one I'll be sure to take care of that along with the new improvements on the map.
Now onwards to the
Towerlord
Champion of the tournament and deservedly so. Besides the gold medal you get Ves' award and 20 prestige points, well done.
  
Mohikanin
Second player in the tournament, he came far Probably had the hardest road and with a little luck he managed to get in the finals. Unfortunately Ves offers no prestige points for the second player but a shiny will do just as well. Congrats.

Your skill in dueling is only surpassed by your emotional attitude. Could have departed in grace but you chose otherwise, a shame. Perhaps you could have won the next 5 games in a row but when you lose you lose, learn to accept defeat.
And of course we cannot forget the Chaos Finalist, Lepastur!
You rose from the ashes and kicked some chaotic butt, good job  Now what's left is to win some games from Tower hmm? Good luck.

It's been awhile since i checked here but really i had no time and kept forgetting to post. New season started in my League and i had plenty to do. But i'm finally here
Thanks to all for funny tournament and some really great games Congrats to the first four of You guys. Mohikanin did his job extremely well ( my welcoming sentence motivated him very strong i ques... ). Tower showed he really is an obstacle on the road victory Shame we didn't manage to meet on the battlefield but i hope it will happen some day
Elvin - thanks for awards, unlocks, tournament setup, knowledge about map editing, great quarterfinal - think that's enough It was a pleasure to participate and i'm glad i could help. You can count on me of course if there will be any Duel/Arena type Tournament in the future For example on my map
