Don't compare with arena balance just yet Also back then dwarves had extra gold which has now been tweaked.

Lol I am at the center of drama go figure .  I look forward to playing more games, maybe some reverse matchups to see how I would fair on the other end of the matchups I've had.  All I will say is..I KNOW I have a lot to learn.  But the games are fun, and I don't mind taking my lumps and/or losing.  Jinx even offered a reload when I got Haven.  I told him that no, it was ok.  I learn a lot more from losing then I do winning.  Each time I get a bit better. That is what is important.

Finished my third game with Larry. I won so it's 3 - 0 for me in total.
I had Sylvan and Larry had Necro. This was just a dream build and a very lucky game for me. Dragons were just crazy...

Thank you Larry and good luck in the future games.

Another games are completed.

Game #1
Michi69 (Sylvan, Anwen) vs Clayman (Stronghold, Gorshak) 0:1

I tried to do everything in this battle to survive, but against crazy barbarian units, full of rage and morale - it was just impossible.
What's worse, my magic was absolutely enlighted - my dear opponent felt me pretty easy out. Good game though.

Game #2

Michi69 (Academy, Narxes) vs Clayman (Sylvan, Gilraen) 1:0

This time Sylvan units were destroyed by dark magic and well prepared to this fight Narxes. Although Clayman did his best, he couldn't deal with substantial domination of my units.

Game #3

Michi69 (Sylvan, Ossir) vs Clayman (Haven, Irina) 0:1

Finally, the third, and the most even one. The beginning was very optymistic for me, nice destructive magic combined with massive light spells were tipping the balance on my side. However, Clayman survived very tough beginning and managed to kill my druids. Then he decided to use regenaration.. which was crucial for the result of this fight. At the end (damn, again) I've made fatal mistake when my dancers left mystic hunters open for angel's punches.. and it was almost over.
Finally started the most annoying and irritating part of the game for me - everlasting and regular morale for angels and cavaliers was simply an exaggeration.

However, credits must be deserved for Clayman, he kept playing till the end and it worked out.

Final score: Michi69 vs Clayman 1:2

Thanks.

I played my games vs Mitchi69, and I won 2-1.

1st was me as Gorshak vs his Anwen iirc. I got enlightenement as 3rd levelup so with arties I had 21att/17def and got lucky with shatter light as well. I was able to build up good rage and hordes anger helped quite a bit so I won this.

2nd was my Gilraen vs his Narxes. He picked dark magic for witch I had no counter, and his titans, puppets and mass confusion massacred me. I gave it up after a while.

3rd was my Irina vs Ossir. He went for destructive magic, and I thought I was dead meat, but I was able to turn the tide. My morale vas insane, retribution, empathy, masshaste and mass rm combined with regen and guidance are nuts. Iirc at the end my champs acted 3-4 times before his hero.

Replays

Very good games & nice, great opponent as well!

Game #1
Michi69 (Sylvan, Anwen) vs Lepastur (Haven, Irina) 1:0

Another battle between these two sides.. I'm wondering how many times this pair is going to be drawn in the near future.. :/
I managed to win it, though. Lepastur's dark magic was not enough to deal with powerful destro combined with fine stats of Anwen and a lot of luck.

Game #2

Michi69 (Necropolis, Lukrecja) vs Lepastur (Stronghold, Gorshak) 1:0

Lucky draw for me this time. Vampire putting to sleep everything he touched and very strong dark magic made Lepastur give up very early. I had got very nice Summonic Magic in hand, but I was not given a chance to use it.

Game #3

Michi69 (Academy, Galib) vs Lepastur (Haven, Gabrielle) 0:1

Tragedy, tragedy, tragedy. Lepastur came on the battlefield without any monks, archers and peasants. When he saw, that Galib possesses
both suppress light and seal of darkness, he wanted to give up a fight at the very beginning. I convinced him to play just a few moves.. and then I played the worst game in my h5-career.

Since Lepastur began to convince me that his army and magic are useless, I lost my concentration at all. Wrong spelling during the whole battle, instead of playing light I used dark all the time which was easily submerged by paladins. I had so many aces up my sleeve, didn't take advantage of any of it, though. And my opponent turned my pathetic game to account and won easily.

First match won, great leftdown in the meantime.

Final score: Michi69 vs Lepastur 2:1

Thanks.

Mohikanin vs Zilo
2:1

First game - dwarves vs orcs. Svea's lightning featuring runes destroyed Zilo's warmachines. Very interesting battle especially in the end.

Second game - haven vs dwarves. Irina with light magic vs Ebba's (one more time) warmashines. Morale, mass haste, enduarance and rightous might were the keys for the success.

Third game - orcs vs haven. I couldn't do anything - crossbowmen before my hero, dark magic, awesome stats. Congrats Zilo, great battle.

Albo - I'll try to show that I'm "at least advanced"

Just a comment about the third game with Michi. It's true I thought the game was lost at the very beginning (I guess marching with half army and first frenzy mirrored is worth of it) but I decided to continue a few movements for not doing an ugly thing to Michi, get some fun and give up when the game were clearly lost. I don't think anyone convince nobody of nothing. Anyway, if I'm very sorry if you couldn't concentrate because of my fault, but I give up many battles because I'm short of time.

BTW, I played Elias too and went 3:0 to my favor. At last a full victory! I began to believe I'm cursed in this Tournament. Now my morale passed from -3 to 0 I'll post replays soon.

Hi all.

I did a little marathon of games yesterday, the "Marathon of Defeat", couse Ive played 8 consecutive games and lost every single one of then.

You guys are too much for me, Im trying to catch up and actually almost won a battle against Lepastur, but Im still no match for you people.

Anyways, I lost 2 games to Natalka, 3 against Pera, then 3 against Lepastur. I think I should get an unlockable if I manage to lose all my games in this tournament, but I still hope I wont deserve it.

Played my games with Karim, ended 3-0 for me.

Karim got necro in all 3 games, opposition was Nathir with sp23, Inferno with mass light and Maeve with enlightment and mass light.

I would call it reasonably lucky

Firstly, I didn't intend to make you feel guilty for my lack of concentration. I can blame me and only me for this, I need to focus on the game all the time. So - don't be sorry for my own mistakes.

Secondly, you really deserved to win this and please let me give a tip for you: NEVER give up and always keep fighting till the end. If you don't have time just put off the match and play it another day. ;]

Note: The replay of my 3rd battle with Clayman was wrong, it was my friendly game with Albolabris (but also Ossir vs Irina). I fixed this and now it's alright.

It seems that a day without tourney game is for me the wasted one..
This time against Natalka:

Game #1
Michi69 (Sylvan, Gilraen) vs Natalka (Necropolis, Ornella) 1:0

Game #2

Michi69 (Stronghold, Telsek) vs Natalka (Necropolis, Ornella) 0:1

Game #3

Michi69 (Necropolis, Orson) vs Natalka (Academy, Narxes) 0:1

Game #1 and #3 were a result of strikeout generator, the second one was randomized. Unfortunately this time without any descriptions and replays.. Natalka asked me not to show any of them. That's a pity, because the first two games were very interesting.. in the third one Natalka has just grinded me up.

Final score: Michi69 vs Natalka 1:2

Well done my dear opponent, you deserved to win it.

I have a suggestion, about an inconvenience of the map :

Reset money when passing the middle garrison instead of doing it when passing through the portal, cause mistaking the portal can easily lead to accidental money loss
