Resource Editor
I have this resource editor, I'm not sure about the version, but it has the icon of a red eye. It is capable of extracting files and resources from Homm 1-4, and that includes RoE, AB, SoD, and WoG all versions. But when I want to modify, or replace individual files inside the resource files, it won't let me do that. I've tried everything, including the file manager, right clicking on the file and click delete. Although the icon disappeared and it seems that it has been deleted from the resource file, but if you close down the resource editor and reopen that same resource file again, the file that you just deleted will resurface again.
So friends, I need some help here on how to modify the original resource files that came with Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (my version's Wog 3.58f currently), and how to modify the individual files inside the resource file. Do I have to download a different version of resource editor? Or is there some trick in replacing them? Because simply trying to overwrite the files using the resource editor doesn't work out very well.
