@Rahkshi:

Deftool link in main post

@Benden:

Scroll the forums, there are a few small mods which replace creatures or add new objects. As for maps, check at maps4heroes or yahoo archives. (main post too)

I have a new question Sal about the objects in your patches. Can you script for any unused object? Like 63/07 or 63/29, for instance, through ERM? And I'm not referring to the object editor doing it for me, mind you. I mean writing a brand new script and using it on an unsed object. In other words are they numbered so that I can select the object through ERM and script for it to put in a timed event?
If not, how can I script for your decorative objects? Thanks.

It is basic and only big mod released till date. Others are just nuts of limited use and sense. Get WoG as soon as possible.

@Rahkshi

Someone here could make a guide for using DefTool. It is not that hard, mostly automatic.

@ByteBandit:

The objects I added have no type/subtype (I never add them as people may prefer to give a different usage), so if you want to script then must refer to their coordinates. But, when in editor, you can use spacebar (if Grayface patch installed) and assign them a type/subtype, then script for all. With his patch you can change anything for an object, passability, terrains available and usage.

Only a few objects I added have type/subtype, mostly those who had a obvious layout, like wells, arenas, shipyards. The new trees and mountains are decorative (type 40), as I was not sure how the obstacle brush tool will handle them if type given.

Thanks for making it a bit more clear about whether I can script for these objects on your patch, Sal. When I do eventually have the capacity (Computer wise) to make a map using your patch I will probably script them locally per location and be comfortable with that.

Also, may I have permission to post the new Commander Artifacts up on the WoG Archives for others to use who do not frequent HC.?
