C&C 4 or meh
I am a C&C fan for a long time and loved the story from Tiberian sun.While it took a long time for C&C3,it was not something i have been waiting for that long.
C&C 3 was like a degradation of tech and time in the C&C universe.To me it seems that C&C3 should have came before C&C tiberian sun because of that fact.
So all in all,we have C&C4 now.It seems that it is some sort of experiment conducted by EA to counter piracy.Reason,it will require 24/7 internet connection so that you can play it,either offline or online.
I despise this because i just like the story of the C&C games and the playstyle it delivers.Both of these are missing cuz C&C4 will have no base building and that it is a ripoff from the failed DoW2.
Ps: well i wrote all this to myself.I barely think this forums are
alive anymore,the other part is hive minded.

Seems like the ship the EA sunk is just going deeper...How sad.
And the fact is, only thing EA cares about is countering piracy and deepening their own pockets

If I remember correctly EA will finish the series with this game too.
Yay, way to finish off the series... changing the core of the gameplay, a gameplay that defined an entire genre... Meh indeed.
Bah, it might turn out great anyway.

Aye I despise DOW 2 too and think DOW 1 was much better. A pity they are making C&C 4 more tactical too.

Indeed.
The gameplay sounds dysfunctional with changing class, plus no bases.
How do you harass with no resource gathering?
I have trust that they'll make the game be worth it but what about the tiberium?
And hard counters with little "money" to spare? Keep massing units and them get blown away by one?
All in all, my expectations for it aren't too high but I'm still awaiting it with enthusiasm like never before.
