I'm surprised it's not 'here' on this site under 'info'.

I've been comparing the numbers, and they don't add up - they're not accurate.

Except hundreds would be 250-499, but that's a detail. I think there are/were several old threads about this, but I probably deleted some of them in cleaning. I'm not sure it's actually listed anywhere on AOH, I think it's something most people just picked up along the way, and of course familiarity with H3 which had similar schemes helped.

I've noticed that in some version of homm3 label consist number representation. I mean, in the status bar you can see how many creatures in few, lots etc.
How can I do it with my version of homm3 complete? I heard that it could be done modifying some .dat files...

Do you mean showing the amount, for an example, like this:

"A Horde (50-99) of Pikemen"

There are no .dat files in Heroes 3, but it can easily be made to show the amounts like that by editing a text file..

I have already done it!

Just place this text file to your "Data" folder and it should work:

I have used this for god knows how long, since it's nice not having to remember the amounts by yourself
