I tend to alternate just for variety lol. Wasn't aware that happened to the second player only, seems the issue is the same like when the no relic bug happened with merchants - typical Nival retardedness.
Anyways you can change hosting player's place as long as the opponent has not already joined. And I disagree about factions being as determinant anymore.

Then perhaps removal of guaranteed shat dark thingy for orcs in Epic Duel may have been better since it is one extra skill point that can be mentored for other stuff & armies are biggur & no way to spend gold on artis for most so can mentor freely & PM has less chances to appear for dark factions due to availability of CotN [enlight orcs have been even more scary here!]
I mean...it's prolly ok maybe to spend the point on shat dark but spend 3k & then to mentor it away for some other gain when not using shat dark without penalty due to heaps of gold left?...the only faction here that needs to micro-manage gold is haven (because normally can't train 10 pallys plus 10 x-bows) & no-one has time for that

You aren't actually trying to bring balance to the chaos version are you?  but I was considering the removal of the orc quest in the regular map, after all there are already 2 witch huts to help with rare skills.

It was just a thought which applied when
1. artis became free
& exacerbated when
2. they became many &
3. creatures went to wk6
so they all add together with the enlight stats and/or group of spellpower artis (so really noticed in latest tourny)...
since they are quite strong, there is no need to give extra boost...
thought some more & if orcs get less gold or quest requires more gold there may be some opportunity cost...
& I recently found out more about the haven training limitation [& so I more understand now when my opponent didn't have 32 pallys or sub-optimal builds]...[I should never have played those games without aiming for enlight as first priority & without using mentor but max training *rolls eyes*]
bah it's almost over anyway & no-one knows beforehand what will happen

Yeah but I realized that it wouldn't serve a purpose if you did. If you win ok if you lose what?  You are the only remaining candidate for the finals, just consider that I had an extra match with Primus and if I lost it would instead be you two in the finals.

The display of extreme lameness resumes against Bliz. Not much I could do against his inferno, too much spellpower for me to handle his dark. The next two were both won by a single devastating charge. And the final one.. watch. Funny how it came to be that way, I noticed that I could not buy my last 2 dragons after I bought frenzy and vampirism from the library so I decided to spend my remaining gold in the mentor. As fate would have it light appeared.

What comes next is the dreaded Bonkers Cup. Considering some of us are in exam period I'll have to consult veco for the preparations and fine-tuning the map. For now he may explain what the Cup is about and how it works.
For the record like the Chaos Cup it does not count for ratings but the tournaments after it will.

Well I see that bliz shoulda hammered Azagal first & then maintained that momentum with or without lamenuss [curses that they didn't have time]...won;t see replays till tomorrow but look at one of the names

Edit: Checking the files of the game I see I could possibly reduce the amount of random obstacles in the arenas - assuming they are not inherently tied to the arena mod. And make orc pendants free. Looking for village hall to make it stop giving gold.

I am still the lone voice that hates the arena mod because it makes it difficult for me to see the battlefield because it is so dark.
What exactly is on the bonkers map? It is not as chaotic right?

I'll be posting all details for bonkers along with an updated map in the next few days.
It'll be even more chaotic in the desing but not in the mechanics (with the major fun spoilers such as DV/Arma/Staff banned). The main part will be a different scoring system, enouraging experiments.
