Armageddon's Blade last mission on Impossible
I play the campaign on impossible difficulty and i'm totally stuck at the Armageddon's Blade last mission. In month 2 generally my enemies are 2-3 times stronger than me. The time limit just kills me. Any tips?

You kidding?
You start with 6 or 7 towns, each has good troops in garrison, all 3 heroes have town portal. Catherine has DD.
Gelu will have a bunch full of firebirds and phoenixes, along with around 300 sharpshooters.
How can this scenario take longer than 1 week?
Opponent only has ONE town, and it is a M size map....

If that is that mission I recall, the blade stands beside the enemy hero in the middle of the map. DD there, take the blade, kill the hero in 3 rounds, the end.

It's not that, i mean where 6 towns invade one super strong inferno. The problem is that you start with "0" of each resource and you get only ~10000 gold each day. It barely is enough to buy all creatures per weak, and Xeron is the most powerful hero i've created in the campaign. Besides he has 4 other heroes with loads of troops and with hellloads of scholars near them. And also Xeron has Town Gate, which SUCKS (He generally leaves tha garrison open and all the town has is "zounds of familiars".

But then it is not the last one. The campaign "Armageddon's Blade" has 8 scenarios. Which one is yours?

I was speaking of the mission: 6 confluxes, start with 0 resources, all confluxes are almsot fully built, the enmy has one town, the primary enemy hero is Xeron, Xeron has 4 helpers, the mission has a 2 month limit.

Could you just click on the adventure options button in the game, then on scenario informations and then tell us how this scenario is called?
I couldn't find any scenario on AB campaign which has a 2 month limit...

That's map 8 of the AB campaign. It's called Oblivion's Edge and the extracted file name is H-_Oblivions_Edge.h3m.

It does. By the end of week one i got attacked by some hero with 30~ Efreet Sultans on my least built caste. On week three Xeron attacks Catherine's castle (the only one with firebirds(can't even upgrade, so tiny amount of resources daily...)) with about 40 arch devils, 90~ ES, and about 600 Horned Demons. I have 12 FBs, 10 Phoenixes on that castle. So... Catherine loses, campaign ends...
Edit: Btw Xeron has about 30 attack and defense. Catherine is my least powerful hero and has 20~ attack 25~ defense.

You take Gelu as main. He has expert earth and tons of sharpshooters. You take 10 phoenixes as starting bonus.
You have mercury bottle as artefact besides Armageddon's Blade!
Gelu has all earth spells.
Don't care about other heroes of red, just collect all troops (you have daily income of more than 10k!), buy all other army end of week 1, and buy some heroes who can collect mercury for you, so you can upgrade firebirds.
You have to play offensive, not wait till he comes!

Gelu starts with 9 sharpshooters for me. I choose 25 magic elementals as a bonus. i'm in month 2 week 2, i have about 100 Firebirds, loads of magic elementals and a lot of other things on gelu, Xeron has 70 Arch Devils, 150+ efreeti and other stuff. The problem is that when i clear the Garisson, i don't have an enough army to beat Xeron. Xeron just sits in the castle after month 2, with his 4 aiders trading troops with him, and generally his aiders take my towns one by one after Gelu is set out to Kreelah. Armageddon helps there though, but it only forces the normally stationary troops to get out and kill me.

I actually won the armageddon blade when the main opponent simply didn't attack me, he was beside the castle when I enter and close the campaign. But I tried to defeat him sometimes and couldn't also. The main problem is that for some reason this villain blocks my tactics. As the map has sharpshooters as a strong point with tactis I could protect him with other creatures, but without tactics on first round he's already surrounded and is dead weight....really hard scenario, to start with 0 resources 0 gold and have the time limit, no tactics and the sacrifice magic the enemy has that grow 25 archdevil mid fight...couldn't find a solution to win the fight

Nice to see someone are still interesting in campaigns in 2024.
Btw, can anyone please point me to a SoD campaigns walkthrough? I cant find any good impossible level speedrun.
In era of HDmod, SP mod, with all our knowledge about the game mechanics, is there any record level or similar optimal playthrough?
When I was young it was really difficult to pass the Krag campaign at 200% and im really eager to know how can I do it in the “best and fastest possible way”

Have a look at Meridian's videos on YouTube. He played through all of the RoE, AB and SoD campaigns on 200% difficulty as well as the three cove campaigns and right now he is playing through the HC campaigns.
