Hmm... Just download resurce pack (500+ MB, zip file, mostly pngs file) and look what inside!

What about units? They conwerted only city so units must be hard to extract...

I know thats its pack but 500 mb is a lot. 50 no problem. Now I work with another cities so dont need this download. I only ask whats inside. Units are ripped and converted to png?

Not so easy, because only few defs were converted. Still it's lots of work with converting modern game to H3 'standards'. Now there's ongoing project to make Death Valley town from necro sprites from this pack. Check appriopate topic.
And yes, sounds are available too!

i'm still trying to fix the mummy from that project(i've been working on it for over a year, tbh). it's not easy fixing the attack-swipe animation that these creatures have. if anyone could get their hands on the originals(without the attack-swipe graphics, or the defend-blast graphics), that'd be BOSS. that'd save a TON of work that i'd have to do to make these creatures relatable, graphically, to the existing creatures in homm3.

the mummy, and the hydra(which is awash in attack/defend graphics that don't match the existing creature lineup) are the 2 that i personally want most(as i really don't like the homm3 hydra, but want a legless version; ala homm2 hydra). after i get the mummy fixed, i can make a royal mummy, and finally replace the black/dread knights, which i also hate.

if this isn't doable, i'll just be making the mummy and hydra myself, once i get outta college/learn 3d. but that'll be 3, possibly 4 years from now.

Maybe better is to use it together than "grabbing" single defs to other? As you said it needs work... Units rescaling frame by frame is hard? Maybe some tool?
The best screen is ripped to rampart rest is not so beauty and needs reworking...

it's not the frame-by-frame transfer that is difficult. it's removing animations that don't exist in standard homm3, that is.

Bad... Converting from models and animations... So not so easy. To rescaling I suggest radvideo tool. Can cnovert 700 or 1400 frames size but some minuts is needed.

any mass-tools used for transferring, from what i've seen, produce pixel flaws. mostly, pure black pixels will disappear, that you'll have to fix manually, one frame at a time. it's easier just to transfer each frame yourself, and avoid having to fix anything.

the defense frames are the only ones left that, i believe, won't be able to be redone. maybe a substitute can be made instead? regardless, i'll eventually have mummies and royal mummies replacing the undead knights; whether i find them somewhere else or make them myself.

Try this:
Rad video tools
convert to --> bmp eg size 450x450 quality 100% select all png.
Or smack it!
size 450x450 quality 100% pallette new or use from image if is.
Next convert smk to bmp.
And see result. Maybe it will be faster to ripp it.
