I have 3 questions:

- Is it possible for the RTMG not to add any abandoned mines, but the standard 4 types of mines?

- What do I have to do for the 4-7 lvl dwellings to work??? I have finally managed to import them into the RTMG, it shows them into the New Objects panel, but still in-game I only get the Military post!

- I still haven't seen any Seer huts Are you sure the RTMG generates them?

Edit: I am stuuupid! I didn't know I had to run the RTMG for a second time in order to get the effects Now everything works fine.

PS. - I have an idea for a switch - "Mixed neutral armies - ON/OFF"

Hi,

I show a screen shot of new RTMG (1.5.5) that will available soon.
I must make some tests before to release it.

What's new...

RTMG functionalities are now optional.
Stuffs's remix probabilities will be weaker, more rare, least big.
Random neutral Creatures are replaced by mixed neutrals.
Start zones may have all Mines and Dwellings up to 7.
NCF Creatures Panel becomes Creatures Panel and is able to provide all original creatures's stats as well.
Creatures Panel menu will offer Save Creatures and Restore Creatures functions.
NCF MegaPack and Faction Dwellings Mod already imported.

I have some ideas for the NCF creature menu:

Removing creatures "gray" them on the list instead of removing them completely, so if you change your mind and want them back, you can just mark them and click a new "return marked creatures" button. A reset button if you screw up the stats would also be handy, but considering the large amount of engrish in the text, this would probably not go for the description and name.

Another thing would be warnings whenever you decide to remove something, even if it's just temporary. They might seem like a nuisance to some, but the truth is, they save you alot more time than you might think. Reloading or saving data by a misclick can be very frustrating.

OK, after some reflexions, I see a real easy solution to solve that.
and the menu from Creatures Panel will offer Save elements and Restore elements.
So it will be possible to save stats and restore them from the last safe and also possible to raise a deleted creature.

I have tried 2 different templates, but the game crashes with both of them, after a few turns into the game; usually on an AI turn.

Is there something I am missing? I'm sure I did everything right.

ok....

the maps which you play...did you make the second RTMG step to "RTMGfy" these maps?

or you just have created maps with Heroes V's RMG and then gone to play with them right there ?

and please stop to say anything on forum as CelestialHeaven about RTMG and you crashs if you don't read the manual

http://www.celestialheavens.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=286545#286545

seriously, take the time to read RTMG user manual. thanks

First of all, I could not find a manual to download. When I clicked on the link for it, it took me to the generator instead.

I used the template generator, then went to the Map Editor to generate a new map.  After that, I just went in and played the game.

I'll look at the manual to see what steps I missed; if any. I also could not figure out how to put some of the new monsters into the games as well...

Edit:
Your link just took me to your other post, with the same statement!?
Is the "?" in the generator the manual itself?

Look in the master post, search for words "What is RTMG".
Just below of it links directly for manual there are.

No need to download and install RTMG to get its manual and to read it.

I'm following the manual step by step. I notice that when I go to the in-game map generator, after creating a template, I do not have the option to check off "Custom Template".

Is there something I need to do with the game itself, in order to change the map generator to show this option? I am using 3.1 with all the latest patches btw.

you say you dont have the check for custom templates?
try the vertical scroll bar to the right of the window and "down" it.
then others options will display

Thanks Sim,
It did work, however, I have not tried the map itself yet.

I have not read all of the manual, so I will do more of that first.

I've followed everything, but the game just crashed again. Would it help to send you the last save file to look at?

for now it's useless to send me such files.

I prefer you pitch some screenshots of your game folders

I need to see all files from your

{H5 root}\bin
{H5 root}\data
{H5 root}\Maps
{H5 root}\UserMODs

details for them must be visible (name, date, size, type, etc)

you can put them in the next post.

ok ....

what is your windows? vista? xp? the service pack..etc etc...

did you use the RTMG Importer? did you import MOD files?
do you see NCF Creatures in the main list when you click on NCF Creatures button?

I don't think because the size of RTMG.pak is too small.

I'm pretty sure I did not.

It says there arn't creatures from the RTMG database. Go to Import Objects.
When I go there, I shows status "Ignored" I tried to do that right away, but got an error message. I don't recall what it said.
It says Missing missing ready mod file. Other MOD's may already be imported. Run time error 3021. No current record.

go to Import Objects.

you see « data\NCF_MegaPack.pak » in the list.

be sure that is unchecked... (meaning "ready" as status)

then click Import button.

just wait during importation time.

Ok, it's running right now "scanning creatures.."

Ok, it's done!

I think happened the first time, is that I checked it off by mistake.

I assume the game I'm currently running will no good now?

I will start again..
