Time to work.
I believe several key races need to remain -
- Haven
- Academy
- Necropolis
- Stronghold
They all have good adaptability...
Some Ideas for new towns in Name/Race order
- Spire/Aven
- Forge/Elementals
- Ramparts/Sylvan Alliances (Centaurs/Elves/Ents)
- Reliquary/Naga
Lets build on this list. First off, how many towns? Please submit any race/faction you want. I suggest Leonan.

Hi there, sorry for not being here sooner, I just couldn't find time to come.
I will share my ideas tomorrow, since I already started to write something a couple of weeks ago.
My aim is not creating a whole new concept for Homm, but rather improving the original one in many different ways.
Thus there will be a lot of features coming from Homm 3, Homm 4 and Homm 5 in my ideas, but not only
I don't think that this thread is the best tool to discuss about this project. I'd prefer creating a googledoc or something. I won't look at the other teams' threads either

EDIT :
if you still need a leader, I can be the one. I'm currently studying game design at school, and this formation includes some projects creations. So I could help in this way.

OH, I forgot that I never responded, Paul, so he're we go. Let's do this this way: post some main things about how you'd like the game, we all look then we all decide on what's best. Its simple, its short, and I'm sure that HoMM III will influence a lot of peoples positions.

When you said that Berny, it reminded me of Total War's unsuccessful assassin movies. You hide behind my door as I walk through and get smacked in the face cause I open doors very hard.
