I think From Dusk Till Dawn should be watched without prior knowledge of what it's about. When I saw it that way, in the beginning I thought "oh, it's that kind of thing, I get it", and then suddenly I fell into a constant state of "What the hell?"

Yeah that might've been the problem for me, I knew the monsters were coming. Then again, how often do you watch a movie nowadays without knowing what it's about from the beginning?
I for one can't resist reading the back of the cover.

How shocking!! ! Michael Bays movies gets generally medium scores, and some of them bad scores..
Ad when i read the arguments of why his movies sucks i got a little bit pissed off?!?
They all say too many car chases, too many explosions, bad plot and story, bad acting..?!?
Well what the hell did you expect? You go to a michael bay movie when you whant to see a kickass action movie with lots of car chases, explosions and big ass robots!!
His movies is just to entertain people like me, hwo loves action, explosions and sick humor plus fantastic Graphic/sound (Cinema)

As someone who didn't know what From Dusk till Dawn was about, I can say that the surprise definitely made the movie a lot cooler. I watched the movie from the beginning and assumed it was a crime movie, and I was really interested in it. Then when the fight went down in the Titty Twister and I saw the green blood on the knife I was like "LOL WUT?" then suddenly there was a giant showdown with vampires. It was so ridiculously unexpected.
