Mocara makes a mistake.
A title sure to get people's attention.
Anyway here goes;
I WAS WRONG to use nae balsoi's name in the post 'is it cheating?'
It is one of those things you do and right as you hit send you say 'I shouldn't have'.
I have thought about this for weeks and I reallized that It was OK to mention the situation but not his name.
Nae is a good guy and his english is not very good.
A simple misunderstanding.
My intent was not to put any negativity on his name but to allow he and I to discuss this in a public forum.
After talking to him he said he was afraid people would think low of him.
Believe me Nae is a great guy and a fair player.
I hope people learn from my mistake and NEVER mention the name of someone if it may in some way hurt them.
I think the thread was good because it shows people the importance of CLARIFYING the rules.
Now when people say 'no hit and run' I say "OK, hit and run is defined as 'if you cast a damage spell in a round you must stay til the following round, ok?'".
If someone says 'No diplo' I say "Does that mean no diplo hero like ryland? or does that mean if my hero levels up and gets diplo it is ok?"
Noone asked me to make this post. I did it to right a wrong.
Nae is a good player and a great guy. I will play him many more times. I hope any of you looking for a good opponent do the same.

I agree that you were wrong (thought so at the time) but anyone can make a mistake, it is what you do about it that makes a difference.

I am really impressed that u make this thread Moc  .
As I saw it, it was a big misundestanding, everything that happened.
If u did this that means that u are a man of character and I like that (not that u would care  ).
I can confirm the fact that Nae is a very nice, honorable player, he just cannot express himself very well.

Well..
Nice choice.
A day or so after I read the first post I saw nae in zone and decided to play him, and you could tell that he was a lil sad from that post thing. Anyway I lost lol. Heīs pretty good and in that game he played ok. I like to find things like that out for myself.
But I played another player (*not* nae, (ooooh I really wanna say the name, lol), and we said no log, no 4th no grail no carto, then when we are at the town select screen and I take ryland he sais "no dip", so we agree to that after I ask "no dip as main or no dip ever"? Then we play and it goes ok. I get a level 10 hero at start, and decide to keep him because the opp seems to be a jerk. Then he comes attacking my castle week 2, and I buy 6 unicorns and 30 grand elves as defence, and Kyrre, to get some more troops. Kyrre takes 2 steps out of castle and 2 steps back (doesnīt use the 10.5% log bonus) and then totally devastates his army of 6 unis 22 elves and 24 gogs with castle towers and grand elves. Then he says "Hey didīt I tell you no log" and I say "Oh I thought you meant no log as main" (the most common enterpretation) and dismiss kyrre after telling him I never used the log bonus anyway. Then during my turn, he drops from game and zone, and returns later claiming that he was unaware that it was a sod game, and wants to play another game.
I was pretty mad when he tried to rulecheat his way out of the loss (you can tell when someone tries that. Thanks for stopping them ves), and then dropped.
It turns out heīs only 15 years old so I guess its ok. But he played another game after that with Tim I think, and he didnīt want to finish that either. The player Im talking about is definately trying to cheat his ways out of losses any way he can, and his name is.. hehe I canīt tell you.

Well as my first thought i think nae was titled to this excuse from you. actually when i read your post about nae and his dishonorable acts .. i couldnt figure out who i actually think was dishonorable... maybe you guys ended up in same boat that day
But this thread, mocara, shows that you contains great character and that we all can trust nae, despite whatever happened between you and him. Afterall he didnt cheat, but misunderstood the rules!!

U know I just love this kinda thread, wonder what it would do to the world if The Israelis and Palestinians where large enough to do the same
But hell, thats just my little pet theory, 99 % of the worlds conflicts are due to misunderstandings.
And know that we are all in the mood for sharing, I must admit I myself have a nasty habit of delibaretly misintepret what people say to me when Im in a foul mood, guess its something to work at.
