the name of the game...
although Oldtimer had the honor of creating the last major RolePlay thread, the whole thing started from a little thread called "Hexa's Quest" ...or, to be more precise, by a few posts between Hexa, Wizardboy and myself back in the old Kuma's Tavern...
the main story however unfolded in the posts of the original, Lengends in the making thread (created by RMS if I remember correctly) and continued to its present form in the new The Saga Continues...More Legends in the Making(roleplay) thread, created by Oldtimer (one of the major posters and co-ordinators of the Role Play)

Hey don’t be so severe with me little green man. I’m just a newbie ! 
Thanx Lith. I don’t go often on thread about roleplaying. But it seems quite interesting.
I’m so lazy (kind of tosser...) I don’t want to read it. It’s to enormous. Perhaps Hogoblin want to explain it to me ?
I prefer not to start. I’m so bad at roleplaying. But if I could have epic adventures with you guys, I’m your man !

Hmmm...
Do you really think that I'll lose my time, explaning story to a tosser like you?
Seriously, the story is too big, and you know I read slowly, so if you wnat to know it, you should rather read it by yourself.
And for the new story, I'll think about it.

I think that i can continue the story.
I'm not a great storyteller like Westley but I think I'm a good rollplayer.
If you agree, I can be the new master for hobgobelin and other people.
