I only use one that makes Geralt's hair white instead of grey.
Also there's the complete combat overhaul on the nexus, which is apparently pretty sweet. Made by a CDPRED dev.

Well, just upgraded my PC with a new video card and now I'm completely confident that I can run whatever W3 throws at me. <3
Edit: Ooh, Charles Dance plays the the emperor of Nilfgaard.

Almost nose dived into replaying both Witcher 1 and 2 to dilute my personal excitement, but then I stopped, I want to save it for a month or two before the release.

Huh, a fun an cheap game. But too much of gore there ;/ , and it's cannot be switched off  .
Anyway I have completed play of this game ( the 'pure swordsman', the all possible side-quests, walkthrough with a 'good-guys'), regardless of my expectations the game walktrough was a truly hardcore, due to the maximum difficulty level means 1x Game Over = the whole game from the start :/.
The most dangerous opponent in the game.

I am.
I always, if it is possible trying to switch off the gore level to the lowest level possible.
And that because I do not like the games like "The Witcher 2: ... "
And I always wonder about a crazy peoples that like a gore in the video-games.. ;/

Think about it this way, we can unleash all our savagery in a video game and unwind which is a boon for those people who want to walk down the street without having their throat slit or dismembered.

O.o. I do not know much about such psychological tricks, but I have a doubts that the high gore in the pc-video-games can help in this case.
As for myself, I have no 'angry emotions' if I am playing on a video-game. But I like video-games, because it's can help to make a good things inside the virtual world  , suddenly such things is impossible in the real world ;/.
I like a fairy tales, especially when you can build and participate in this fairy-tales by yourself ^_^ (I mean by your virtual avatar ).
The witcher 2 - is a good in that case.

Btw do you disable gore in mortal kombat too?

When I have my walktrough of the "Wither"/"Witcher 2: ..." - frosysh' Gerald killed no an innocent NPC. Even the 'lie' to the NPC was forbidden , even the sex with NPC 'without love' was usually forbidden  , etc.. .
And the Gerald was not a killer for hire, he was a protector of the peoples against the monster, but yeah, for hire. 
That because I do not like a Mortal Combat video games series, but still the Mortal Combat is competition, there is a skilled soldiers, killers, fighters, monsters of war, etc,

Nah, perhaps your Gerald is like that one, but mine Gerald was a protector of the innocents, and his sword never was in blood of innocent NPC.
i.e. he saved a Sorcerress from the evil rural folks leader (priest) in the Witcher 1, he saved the child of an elven girl in the Witcher 2 and the prisoners from a burning house, he even did not killed the bad and cruel Monarch in the Witcher 2 (because if he did so - the civil war will begins instead, and a many NPC folks will die) etc..
There are a many examples, and my Gerold even not steal a single thing (the gold included) in both of Witchers
So nah, in the my fairy-tale about the Witcher, Gerald was a very good. I can even say - the true hero he was.
