Just in case anyone wants to look the druid more "comfortable":
Mounting whatever should never result in too much movement of the upper part of the body. Did anybody here ever read the "Lucky Luke" comics? I specifically think of those scenes where he rides a horse the first time. The horse is moving around extremely wild, while Lucky Luke is sitting comfortable without any movement on top, rolling up a new cigar. He could as well drink a glass of champaign.
Wel, i know, this is overdone. just to give an idea

I know but we are limited by wowmodelview. There are already mounted characters which look better (the cavalier does not move) but the sprites had awful look when imported, due to restricted size. The druid was only a personal view, from a long time Diablo druid PVP killer.
I can't modify the druid moving when the bear is running. They are two different characters and the modelview use both animations. All I can is to strongly recommend to anyone interested in modding units to give a try on the largest database, WoW. I am sure that if several people tried, we will get finally good units.

I have to confess, I am using this mod up to this day!
Almost every sprite fits perfectly to towns (by almost I mean that Fortress's heroes are just ugly).
Is there any chance of a new version? I mean version with added "in battle" sprites and eventually exchanged Fortress heroes?

I would love to update them in 3D Max so have a 100% quality, but Darkloke keeps secret his method to import WoW models. So until I find one, I can't work with them. (or I will again use screenshot extract method which is prehistoric now)

You will have a problem with combat heroes because the game uses their graphics based on their sexes. Male will have the graphics used by might
classes on adventure map and females will have the graphics used by mage classes . So if you try to make new sprites to match the new heroes you will end up with male looking like females and vice versa.

So if you try to see Conflux hero in battle screen, you will end up with female looking like... Dracon! Nobody complains.

And would be perfect adapted to modern real world. Females looking as males, no skirt, no make up, dirty language, unshaved...

The sprites are not in 3D, the late graphics yes, so it may look poor I think. Was a long time ago...

But WoW also have some other models which we can use as heroes and some of them are not used by anyone. For example, humanmaleguard - Knight. But i don't know about importing monsters with weapon, cuz this model don't have it.

Upd. But some of them need edition. This knight will be better if we recolor his tabard in dark blue. But it's not a big problem, isn't it?

Very nice Salamandre! Most of sprites from you in this topic are perfect, and if somebody doesn't like some sprites, he/she may use another
And Seriously then - can I use your sprites in my future convergence mod? (The mod would contain all my near future mods beeing compatible, and much scripts/plugins/resources from another mods - the idea is to have all my ideas, and resources/ideas from other mods I love in one ERA-based mod which wouldn't have inner incompatibilities). I will include all sprites from this, I love if you don't mind, and having to replace ones which I don't love so much from your set is much easier task than redo all those from scratch. Of course I will give proper credits.

Those sprites are ripped from WoW a long time ago, when I did not use yet 3DS max, so they are rather ugly now. Someone having the WoW-3DS max conversion script could re make them with better quality I think.
