I understand what you mean about blurriness, MAYBE it will be done at the end of project. Anyway, I like realistic things, that's why I don't think blur things is good looking. And about size, there will be event bigger creatures (without wings ofcourse), that's why it's called GIANT protectors. And you will only see them in main battles so it won't bother a lot for people who don't like the size.

I understood. They mostly will, I just needed fire-shooting creature and there aren't such from lvl8s.

There are only 2-3 frames needed for the shooting effect. You can use already the effects from various attacks for any creature. For example, copy/paste the zealot shooting effect in 2-3 frames of attacks. Now it has fire shooting. On the net you can find even better effects and combined with appropriate sound.


Moreover, if the x creature attack sound is empty, it can be scripted in battle to use different wav for every action, defend, attack, block etc. So you can have more than the standard one.

I KNOW. the problem is if I change one shot's animation it will affect all creatures using that shot, for example, if I change Zealot's shot, War Zealot's shot will change too. That's why I have to use specific creatures. And If I want to make shooting creatures with it's own shot animation, there comes hard coding, and I'm green in that. And about sounds, I KNOW TOO. You are looking at me like I'm real nub here. However thanks for help.

Sorry for my reaction, you know more then I do, you are good artist and I event like you. You are helping people, more when anyone else. Just I don't like when people explaining me the things what I know for a long time. You surely couldn't know.

I'm actually not even expecting for everything to work and look like I imagine, but it's worth trying.

Here are my thoughts about the overall:

Easy to do, however if by one person alone it will be optimal. By several people the different qualities layouts will be noticeable. But we have only a life.

Seems to me you want to create a clone of frenzy spell, as changing the creature look is not possible atm. Interesting idea, if given more abilities than simple frenzy. Of course there should be penalties as well.

This night I was thinking a lot of this project so this is how it will be. It's also respond to Salamdre's post.

The number will be more about 15-20% because of complexity to make spell "anger" and just some creatures look good as they are, and I'm still the only graphic artist in this project, so it's too much for one man.

This wont be done.

At least I Will TRY to make something similar. It won't be a copy or something, just new different schools of magic.

Those creatures will be like bosses with spec abilities. Something like in Disciples, but in Heroes style.

They are from world of warcraft. I just extract each frame,choose needed ones, make each frame good size, good palette, good colour, put frames in good sequence and pack it to def file.

Mainly the idea for increasing fire magic for heretics having the right skill combo may be interesting. Additionaly artifacts may increase or decrease this extra boost.

So this is not a general fire magic boost, but a special one, only open for heretics. I have a similar boost with other effects and other prerequisites for clerics. For other magic classes i'm still looking for ideas. But this fire magic boost might be of interest for Apo

It's actually a very good idea as I'm going to make faction specific boosts. (well, you gonna make, because I'm not a very good scripter. I will tell all info when we have our web site)

Sorry for double post

I was working today on Apocalypto's portrait's and advaneture def, also prepared Apo minion's frames for use and good pallete for him, and I didn't finish it, so I understood that I have too little time for making my own project.  So the project won't continue. Sorry for such a rush and for breaking some dreams. Didn't think that this will happen, I was really ready to make it and finish it, but it would last too long. Ofcourse some of you don't care about how much to wait, but I'm just not that man, who would work on one thing  for very long time, I love dinamic things and daily routine is not for me. I'm really sorry.
On the other hand, i'm not leaving wog modding, so feel free to ask for help, and I will still make some minor mods for you all to enjoy.
Thank's for wishing luck and sorry again.

Well man, this happened to all projects about changing the universe. Why just not stick to less ideas but doable in the mean time. Various small projects=huge database. Huge projects=locked after some time.
Truth to be said, I wasn't expecting this one to give up so soon. maybe reconsider with less options?

this is an epidemy,i thought it be finished atleast,as a person who also used to mod h3,its a dieses that strikes in the hearts of developers of mods that disables them to continue,if we only had a cure.
