(DM to all): You perceived through your skills that some creatures are between you and your quest target. You won’t be surprised by them. Also you have lanterns and torces with you so you dn't get low-concealment penalty. However you have to defeat the 6 Dire Rats to get to the other side of the pool. Time for combat!

Dagoth to all: I hope you won't mind if I complete my turn. It's simple damage dealing.

Shelva to noone in particular: Nasty critters

Shelva tensed up and cursed the rat that made the mistake of getting closest to her.

Shelva uses warlock's curse on rat 4. No dice roll is needed. Warlock now does extra damage to rat 4 and is granted 4 temporary HP when rat dies.

She locked eyes with the wounded rat that Terrence was dealing with and flung a stream of eldritch power at it to seal the deal.

Eldritch blast aimed at rat3 for:
Hit roll vs reflex: 1d20+4 = 15 *succes*

DM to Dagoth): Good, that way we can keep the battle going during the week. You made everything right, I'll update the combat summary on my previous post with what you did. If others want to act too no problem, just post like Dagoth did.

Now it's turn for either Balasar or Terence that got 19 initiative this round.

NOTE: I forgot to use the Twin Strike from the Kyia as it should be used: 2 strikes, so Rat 5 is actually dead now. updated on combat summary post.

(DM to Dagoth): When I rolled for him I got 10 damage for the Twin Strike but I attacked only once so I had reduced rat 5 to 28 HP only. However, as the Pwer allows for 2 strikes it was actually down to 18 HP on the first round (38-20 = 18HP). On the Second Round Kyia got good rolls too and used Twin Strike on the same Rat 5 with 18 HP. She dealt 10 damage 2 times, so it is now dead (18-20 = -2HP).

And thanks for sending the pics with the rolls, it is important we are honest with rolls otherwise it's like using a cheat on a PC game: it becomes easy.

I got a program we can use to roll dice at the same time and interface for our next meeting. I'll post it on the OOC Thread, it's a small download and it's a free demo.

dagoth to LD: Not exactly, warlock's curse only helps for the warlock that cast it (that's why two warlocks in one team are a bad choice)and doesn't help your attack roll. All it does is increase the damage roll with 1d6 and give an advantage to the warlock depending on the pact, if it dies. (in my case, it's inferno pact, so it heals me.) Sorry, man.

(DM to LD): Yeah unfortunately Warlock's Curse works for him alone and you missed the roll since rat's AC is 15. To be more descriptive/dramatic: "After being thrown on a dangerous situation, having to shield your Warlock ally from the rodents, you try to thrust your blade in the closest dire rodent's direction trusting your swiftness to hit it, unfortunatelly the rodents are sneaky and it dodged your attack jumping aside quicly."

(DM to Balasar): You hold your holy symbol and attempt to burn the rat with your holy flames, invoking the favor of Ioun, however it seems they are quite agile and quick on the reflexes and you are still a novice cleric. As your roll was so disastrous (1) you hit Brandis by accident instead (lol), that is, the nearest unfortunate person from the targeted Rat 2. Brandis receives 7 HP damage from your flames (the damage roll was 8 but you can cure a person 1 HP when you hit Sacred Flames so I deducted it from the final damage).

(DM to all):

Passive Perception check from Terence vs 15 DC: After a few rounds you notice the rats avoid the pool of water in the middle for *some* reason. Someone should make an Active Perception/Nature/Dungeoneering Skill Check on his/her next turn as a minor action (you can still move and attack after an Active Skill Check, the only exception for that are Healing Skill Checks that are considered Standard Actions), after you roll I tell the results.
