Battle for Wesnoth
For those of you who don't know, Battle for Wesnoth is a free downloadable game that is designed around 4-25 scenario campaigns. THe graphics are about as good as HoMM II, but it all works together to make a delightful little game. This thread is supposed to be for general conversations.

I remember that I was playing it some years ago, it's a very good game.
I remember that in game manu you can download many mods and campaings to it.

Wesnoth is a great game, especially considering that it's absolutely free.

@Shyranis:
It may be easy to play online, but the game was designed more around the numerous campaigns.My experiences w/ online play have been downright negative.
On a side note, a neglected feature is the "book of knowledge" which shows information on everything you have seen so far from terrain to atributes
