Hello. I just thought that it would be better to do the Brute first because then, you can tell me if you like the standard of the animations and upgrades I did for it. The Brute didnt take such a long time, so I will know faster if you like the creature and if I should carry on doing some others. The crossbowman would take me longer, thats why I started with the Brute so you can reply quicker. It will be a challenge to make it but I'll try my best. Do you know any programs that you use/know which could help me with making the crossbowman and the other creatures?

Why is Crossbowman/Marksman made if there's already Archer/Ranger?

i don't know, the brute that you have uploaded to your page is ok, because is maybe the perfect evolution for peasant ignoring the militia of heroes 5, moreover, these creatures appear to be simple in comparison to the other, is to add some vestments and rotate in the right direction for the movement frames. I have used many programas, sounds editors, text, images, pictures, videos, but my loyal friend is the paint shop pro. with him i already done el 99% of the art work... so if you want post, for example 2 brute movements to see the progress, i can help you in some aspects.

to e-lysander, the crossbowmen is necessary because the bishop that i have made some time ago, not fit well to casttle.. for her form, (it's my opinion) and de crossbowmen is perfect in a knight rank to be between of the pikeman (3 level) and swordsman(5 level). actually the swordsman is level 4, but in the other castles, ogres, minotaurs, vampires mmm, are on 5 level stack, so they needs to be "upgrade".

finally i had an idea consistent in: all castles will have 3 lost creatures, the creatures can not be recruited in the town, but you can found they in the adventure map. So i need 3 new monsters for every castle

Whoa, this is great. Please finish this, you guys. This is what I wanted Heroes III to be. I would honestly play this way more than vanilla Heroes III, no joke.

Yes, I painted and i tried in the game, it's very interesting the job that you have done, if you want to do more, it's no problem, so.. when you have done another unit, i promise to you to upload another video, because up a video for only 1 unit it's not very good bussines and i'm working now in others aspects of the game, what do you think?

Thats okay , dont worry ! Sure! I would love to do more creatures! Btw, I really like your idea about the 3 lost creatures per castle! There would be more creatures to battle it out with!

P.S do you want me to do any adventure map objects. I've got the homm2 map editor so I would check if they would fit well If you just want me to do the creatures thats okay, Im just offering to help.

Additionally some ideas ! Firstly I wanna say that I'm not trying to force you to include these things in the mod! These are just some ideas which I came up with and think that could be nice to include. I've read comments on your YouTube videos that you wanted to get some ideas so here you are:

- Crystal Golem + Gem Golem .With a different design from all the other Elementals. It would be nice to attack these when trying to catch a mine

- Artifacts. Have you heard about a game called tibia? I personally don't like it buy if you want to use/ add some new artifacts from it, there are many different weapons and armours that could fit in well for homm2 artifacts.

The website is unfortunately in polish but there are surely some other websites in English as well.

- You also said that you wanted to include some lost creatures per 3 town which is an amazing idea ! Here are some of the ideas I came up with, of what the creatures could be and how they can be made.

For the Knight Castle:
- Sister = Druid based.  With changed head and without a hood on. Re-colored.
- Maceman/Squire  = A unit made from scratch.
- Crossbowman = U know already

For Citadel/Fortress:
- Troglodyte = A creature made from scratch. Personally i think that it would fit well with the swamp theme town.
- Venom Spawn = A creature made from scratch. It would be really difficult to make the animations for this creature so I'm not sure about this one. :/
- Mutated Rat= Made mainly from scratch. Something like this: http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Skaven
Evil Eye= A creature made from scratch. It might fit in this castle or in the Warlock one.

For the Inferno:
- Fire Mistress = Tweaked head of the Medusa with a body made from scratch.
- Horned Demon = Something like the one in homm3.

For Rampart:
- Pegasus = A centaur sized horse with modified wings of the Griffin. With a rider on it or a different way of attack should be thought through.
- Ent = A tweaked tree used from the homm2 obstacles to form an Ent.

For Necropolis:
-Necromancer = An evil-side looking Druid.
-Skeleton Spearman = like the one in my Deviant Art gallery: http://melindar.deviantart.com/#/d3lkutx

Dungeon:
- Evil Eye= Again in Citadel/Fortress or in Dungeon.
Hmm... what else ?

For Stronghold:
Giant = Something like a Troll but with a club.
Behemoth = Probably Impossible to make animations for it My design took me ages to make but what about the animations ahahaha !

Academy/Tower:
No clue :-DD

- Bosses. I don't know if its possible but, attacking bosses would make a hell of a lot more enjoyable gameplay I think. i dont know if its possible but if you would kill a boss for example you could get some resources a random artefact depending on how Boss is difficult and a random spell. Not only this would be fun in a scenario but a Campaign also. The bosses would be 1hez or 2 hex in size. Probably 1 per Castle. They could be added for a patch maybe?

Now few questions, don't answer the ones which you don't want to answer:   =)
1. Have all the Castles got all the creatures (with upgrades) ? If no, which ones haven't?
2. Are there any creatures you want to replace with a different one?
3.  Is there any creatures you would like to improve? The answer I guess is yes, but which ones are they?
4.  Are you planning to make an underground, or did you make one already?
5. Are you planning to make a townscreen for the Citadel/Fortress and Inferno?
6. Do you want a dwelling for each creature on the adventure map?
7. Is there anyone else working on the project apart from you? I'm not counting myself for now as I didn't help much yet.
Hope I gave you some helpful ideas. And sorry for taking your time!

Giant looks way cooler than original! Other units are excellent, too!

Hm. May I ask for something? How about paladin with a shield and warhammer?

Thanks! But these creatures are still with no animations though. :/ Im starting with the Serpent Fly and I hope it will look good ingame and and that its animations will flow well

You can download alpha version already and check yourself which creatures are included so far. Also, yes, Kalu wants to make heretic/witch castles (with creatures and background) and as far as i know every creature will probably have its own dwelling in the last release. Dont know what u mean about underground. I suggest you to contact him via mail maybe, i think this topic is not the place for this since you will spoil some interesting things (i like surprises ) if Kalu answers your question

Edit: About bosses, i think Kalu doesn't want commanders in his mod, it gives you 2x9 additional places for creatures. It is possible and preety easy to control their abilities via ERM also.

And about the bosses, I dont mean commanders, I mean that its a special creature which you can attack. You cant recruit it or win it. It is a special boss that if you kill it you can get something ( like a surprise ) for example an artifact or a random spell or some resources.

Here is another link with a Serpent Fly on the battlefield. I made it transparent and i pasted it on the battlefield. In all I've done about 10 frames for it - so still loads to do. :/

I meant that you can use commander slots (18) to add bosses to game. (but i dont think it is a good idea, since this idea doesnt fit to heroes imo)

that's great, but the serpent's wing doesn't look attractive, at least for me, but if you do all the sprites, maybe we can do something

P.S: the body is a bone dragon tail on green?
