It started in 2000 some time, probably earlier. I've said this already on this forum. Go look at the older threads and you'll see Val and some others copying posts from HC that were from the year 2000.

Will we get some better software for 10th anniversary? Like normal BBC code, no more flood protection (lol), webpage link in profile and some additional tools like friends, rating system? HC looks and feels obsolete.

Let me read from the book of truthful true facts that are absolutely true. *Opens book*
It is a little known fact that Heroescommunity was actually around before the beginning of time. While it was waiting to be created by Val, it was chilling and just minding its own business when the Terminators came back from the future to create the universe. Now they did that so that WE would be created, so we could then create them. Anyhow, Heroes Community was there all minding its own business and poof there was a terminator. It started creating the universe, but it forgot ALL about setting up the chain of events that would Create Might and Magic and thus Heroes of Might and Magic.
Well ol HC couldn't have that, so it Terminated the Terminator, and took over the job. Then it went back into nonexistence and some old guy with a beard came along and saw the Universe. He then took credit for the whole shebang.
That has been a reading from the Book of truthful true facts that are absolutely true.

Yep, it's more than 9000 years old.
For me it looks like an error, his registration time is equal to 0 since most of computer systems count it from first January 1970.

No, that happens also on download sites, when there is no actual download they show upload date as first January 1970.

If I understand correctly that is when Heroes Community 'moved'. An older forum exsisted with the original start time, but (and I am not sure why) they moved to the current system/forum and did not bring the old posts.

It is written that in 2001 HC moved to BB, I suppose that database was cleaned. Imagine if now we stop use BB code all will look like this [b]bold[/b] instead of bold
