The Witch Hut

Hi all,

I've extensively searched a topic about this oh HC and I've looked for it in the AoH Manual as well, without much success. (Probably my fault since I dont get along too well with the search mechanisms of the HC...)

The question is: once you have archieved an expert level at certain skill and you already have an ability placed within that skill. What happens when you take a witch hut for that particular skill?

Is there a rule of thumb to determine whether you will most likely get a new primary or secondary ability? Or is there no rule at all? Meaning you will get a completely random ability within that particular skill?

Any help is welcome as it might decide the course of a tough multiplayer game im in.

Thx!
Wolfs

u won't get any perks at a witch hut, so if u allready got the skill at expert, the hut does nothing...
u can go to a memory mentor, give away the expert skill, take a second perk of that skill, and go back to the hut and gain the expert lvl again (if u havent visited that hut of course)

I was playing on a map without memory mentors, so there was no second chance, in case of a mistake.

That with not giving perks is absolutely wrong, sorry. I appreciate the effort to explain it though. So, the game went on and I tried the damn tree. I got myself a random first level perk. Which almost ruined my game. Oh well...

Possibly Kispagat is right.

I always thought that it advances the skill unless you have expert in which case it gives a random ability of the same skill. Unsure if it's possible to give an ability before maxing out the skill.

there definitely is a chance that you will not get a perk as well; at least it has happened to me before.

Its chance...u can win or loose for a skill. I always take them with my secondaries so as to know. But if you win a game when the enemy took one wrong skill you wont say "He took the wrong skill so he lost"...thatīs whats happening here. If one fails then its ones fault.
