CSS
CSS, "THE" multiplayer game ;p
How many of u guys do play the game?
Cuz, i need some very good maps.. I have alot of extremly fun maps, but instead of searching all over the damn net, i'm trying to get help from other css players instead ;p
I'm searching for a map that works like fy_lego (Destroy parts of the landscape) combined with some adventure elements (Like Jungles, lava lakes and you can imagine what i mean) or cute graphics like (Simpsons and southpark maps)
Any ideas?
(This thread is mainly for css talk)

the only thing which comes to my mind is that site "fpsbanana"
I used to have some cool CS 1.5 maps, but I thought half life dm was more fun to play.
you want a lego indiana jones map? I remember I worked on a remix of timesplitters 2 aztec but didn't finish it...

I disagree. I've played both of them and I just think Urban Terror is crap. I hate having to wait until I can be back in the game, I like multiplayer FPS games where I just respawn within a matter of seconds. I'm not a very patient person. lol

What the hell are you talking about?
Counter-Strike is the game that has modes where you have to wait. Urban Terror has Free For All and Team Deathmatch and even Capture the Flag for those not patient like you.
Though I have to point out that probably means you suck at it (no offense), since usually relatively good and organized players prefer Bomb Mode or Team Survival. (where you have to wait to respawn) -- personally I hate Team Survivor and love Bomb Mode.
They also seem to prefer CTF... but those are really pros in there, and they can walljump extremely well and fast capturing the flag in a few (<10) seconds. I'm not much of a walljumper (even though Counter-Strike doesn't even have "parkour", just shooting).
So I conclude, like most times, you don't know what you are talking about.
And considering you told me to "try" stuff up before to "have experience with" this is one huge epic fail for you if you didn't even know Urban Terror had Free for All or Team Deathmatch modes. LOL!
Also, I suspect you may be dying too much, because you are not organized or "don't play seriously/tactical"... so it's understandable that you get pissed for having to respawn.

I used to play CSS more but competitive Team fortress 2 leaves little time for other games.Best bet for maps is probably FPSbanana.
Death, do you prefer solo-shooting games or more team oriented games?

Definitely team-oriented. I'm a "serious" FPS player and like to play with serious people who coordinate well, not random Free-For-All shooting everyone  (that's why I like Bomb Mode even more than Survivor, because you have an 'objective' other than just 'killing')

As usual, he says nonsense, and then "adds another reason" without admitting that his previous "reason" was crap wrong and that he actually said nonsense. Let me clear up for you: your "added reasons" I did not address, since you did not say them. I didn't even criticize you for liking Counter-Strike for "whatever reason", but for speaking nonsense about Urban Terror. Is that too hard for you to understand or do you just like to give cheap shots at me whenever you can?
Some people just can't admit they were wrong.

hmm I'm mostly on Bomb Mode (TinyBomb/Chill-Bomb servers), or did you mean to search for you? (also, I suppose timezones may be a problem... since I only play late after I finish my stuff for a day)

I prefer free for all, as I'm a "lone wolf"
it's annoying when the other team can't play fair and take you 2 or 3 on 1 (well, it depends, on timesplitters I could win alone against teams of 6 players with ratios like 10 kills for one death )
also I don't like camping and campers. I'm the rusher type, but not suicidal, I make use of cover, and try to make sure I will not get shot by surprise. even when I play sniper, I usually don't hide, I just walk around, but stay in open areas to avoid being surprised by shotgun users for example.
and usually I kill more than I die. I usually end up with the best, or one of the best deaths-kills ratio.

No, unless you can unpatch it to oblivion and find an old .VFM opener, and even then you could not port it to CSS.
Valve hammer is the best mapping tool for Valve games (Duh!).
