[Project]The Rise of the Lich King

Hi! im Festuc,during this days I was preparing my new project.
I finally end the v 0.93 it comes with a manual inside is in spanish but very simple spanish so even google traductor can understand .
I fixed the most of commanders bugs and balance between the commanders(but it still umperfect) and Magog is replaced by Emancier Succubus.
Some spellschools town are changed.
The interface is improved but if you cant speak spanish...
Also includes a new some new icons and descriptions for spells and abilities.
A new hero class system is also included,but is not a copy&paste from the h5rpe,for example each class has 2 inicial skills,but I must recognise that the skillwheel is inspired in the hrpe one,but is not equal of course.
if you want to see all the new features inside the rar there is a pdf.

¿WHATS A COMMANDER?

Its an especial unit,it can be only hired with heroes,because each hero begins with one commander of his race.This unit can be upgraded for have better stats and habilities.It also can be replaced for a unit of the faction of the same level.Commanders have 7 levels.
¿HOW I HIRE A COMMANDER?

For hiring commanders you only have to hire a hero.Each commander begins at level 1
¿WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY COMMANDER DIES?

For now,if your commander die you must hire a new one in level 1.
¿HOW I UPGRADE MY COMMANDER?]

For upgrading your commander you must build the dwelling,when you buy the dwelling of the level 2 creature the commander can be upgraded to the level 2,each upgrade costs 1000 of gold,you can upgrade commanders in the hill fort.
¿HOW MANY CLASSES OF COMMANDERS ARE?
One by each faction,but maybe in the future two for each faction,one might oriented and the other magic oriented,but nowadays its imposible.
¿HOW MANY COMMANDERS CAN I HAVE?
You can have all the commanders that you want,even you can have 2 or three commanders in the same stack,but they must be at level.

But I need help with one thing:The AI doesnt upgrade commanders,is thre anyway to fix this?

Hi Festuc, I see you went for a quick restart , just a few comments:

-The helmets of the black knights are not aligned in the same way as the liches (looking at the horns)

-3 campaigns?, most likely a bit too much.

First,thanks for the reply,in 135 visits is only one!
The 3 campaigns will have only 3 escenarios,so is not so much work,also I have 3 single escenarios already made but im still testing the maps.

Will there be a conflict of UserMod files?

I am currently using Maps_TOE_UnlockAllHeroes.H5u into my UserMods Folder. Will it conflict with your newest Mod? Or, will it only add itself to your new Modified gaming add-on?


Side inquiry: Why in the world are you not using Fileplanet's infinite downloading service to its members? All you have is to upload the file once and, that is all.

Interesting idea, As I understand it you give every hero a commander (which is technically a creature) at the start of the game. Then you make the commander a 3rd alternative upgrade of every creature tier, so you can upgrade it 7 times. I only foresee one balance issue. Since the commander takes one creature slot it has to be more powerful then a stack of creatures, which makes it kinda problematic in late game. As soon as the weakest creature stack of a faction grows stronger than a level 7 commander it will no longer be used.

Yes,except for one thing,commander is not the 3rd upgrade is the zero upgrade i dont know how explain this well...,but remember that the commander is really a creature,so you can have stacks of commanders with a more than one commander,so if you have enough money you can have 3 or 4 commannders at high level,but balance is actually the bigger problem.

The Rise of the Lich King
For installing you only have to extract all files in your heroesv folder,it includes many things,like new balance changes or BAD  levels mod also the commanders are included but I think the balance is not very good,and the commanders maybe should be more powerful.And for numerical reasons and because I made a numerical mistake the mod hasnt got compatibility with NCF creatures,sorry,
And, sorry again, I havent got enough for make a traduction,because there are a lot of new texts so Its in SPANISH,but I think the texts are very very simple,most of them are only commander's names. This is all for now.Tomorrow You'll  find the first post more actualiced and with new screenshots and the new credits.

For the future versions I also started a TOTALLY NEW hero class system,this a quite different,because is a mix beetwen the H4 system and the H3-H5 system.The system works in this way:
-Each faction has 1 basic class,this class is very varied,but is not focused in nothing especial.
-Each faction has 3 Elite classes,this classes are heavy foccused,and they usually are a class focused in Power,a class focused in magic and a special or equilibrated class,there are exceptions,for example academy has two magic classes and a balanced class.For example:
-A class can be upgraded when the hero gets expert mastery in two determined abilities,for example if the runemage gets expert sorcery and expert war machines he will be upgraded into an Runemaster but if he gets expert light magic and expert destructive magic he will be upgraded into an snowmage.
-Some classes are capable to use skills that no other classes can,for example,the elementalist(dungeon,magic) is onle one who can use the elemental vision or the arcanist(magic,academy) is the only one who can do miniartifacts.
-When a hero upgrades his class his level is set to one,but he conserves his skills and stats,but you can win levels again with more facility with your new class.
-The skillwheels of each elite class is the same as the respective basic class,except some power and balanced class have shutters for balance reasons.
NOTE:I think this system is not a copy of others or i have stolen someones work,but if you think im a thief or something like that please tell me,I dont want to be thief!
There are also new things planned for the future but I think this is the most important.

Yes,because you need to play with the 2 h5u that there are in LichMods,because the most little is like a patch.
