Yeah okay, i actually knew that other religions could have terrorists too, but seriously.. In the news you always hear about Iraq, Afg, and generally all the time muslims. So i do believe that they and their religion is causing alot of trouble!
When they talk about violence, killing, stealing, and other kinds of trouble on the news in Denmark, it's always a Muslim, Eastern European or a danish biker/rocker..

I got alot of material saying that they think difrent, and is more violent..

Sorry for my thoughts, but i just se it the way it is (DK)

How about religion being secondary to AREA (it's an area where basically muslims live), because AREA fulfills certain criteria
1) ware zone since 70 years
2) terror area for a long time (Palestine, Lebanon)
3) A very big amount of natural resources which means
a) LOTS of foreign interests and doubtful actions
b) LOTS of money to buy everything money can buy

And even the SUICIDE assassins aren't doing it because of the huris; in many cases they do it because they and their families are POOR and they get the offer that IF they suicide-bomb a target, their families will be cared for.

That's because the poor, the ones misguided or with severe lack of education are more likely comit "common" crimes which are very easily traceble and answer to a need or frustration.

The other crimes are for masterminds or organized crime.

E.G.: My country has always had a large number of thieves.(regretably) So when the borders opened to the west, most the thieves went abroad because they knew there's more to be gained there.
This is one of the reasons that Romanians are sometimes called thieves. That doesn't mean it's fair or accurate; but the fact is that for example Danish people don't get into contact too much with Romanian tourists or nice, working Romanian people who have moved there for a better life because they don't stand out from the crowd, while thieves and criminals do.
I think you get my point.

I certainly disargree that Muslim terrorism is because of poverty. Look at recent incidents in the US. A highly paid military officer who was a psychiatrist and a Muslim murdered 13 people at Fort Hood shouting "Allah is great." He was very well paid, not poor. He had sought out Al Quieda and was associated with a Muslim cleric that another US Muslim terrorist was associated with.

There have also been raids on mosques in the US that were housing weapons. The FBI estimates 10% of US mosques preach jihad.

Also, in Britian a number of DOCTORS were terrorists.

45 DOCTORS in terrorist ring:

Quote:
About a quarter of the Muslims in America ages 18 through 29 believe that suicide bombings can be justified, according to a Pew Research Center poll. Generating those attitudes are imams who preach jihad and hatred in American mosques and postings on the Internet, according to FBI counterterrorism officials interviewed for my book “The Terrorist Watch: Inside the Desperate Race to Stop the Next Attack.”

Saying he is being conservative, an FBI counterterrorism official told me in interviews for the book that 1 in 10 imams preach jihad. Before 9/11, the number of mosques where imams preached jihad was even greater than today

I for one claim that there are multiple factors at work in here and for each individual terrorist there may be an unique set of motives.

Wich area has more acts of terror each year? The US or the area we have as our main topic?
