Top 5 games

yeah i know, my Favorite series poll wasnt so popular, but i am now making a thread where you put your top 5 games i know its not so new but i just wanna know(for my evil purposes )

Mine is pretty much

5-Heroes 4- It put this boring kind of style in my Pc, i don,t mean it,s bad but it has its boring/Fun kind of style.

4-Hitman Contracts- Its the game that put my Hitman idolisation forth, and yeah, its raining in the entire game but, what the hell, its pretty much a fantastic game, i have put up a thread about 47 vs Ezio, so if ya wanna choose wich one you love most, you check it out.

3-Samurai warriors 2- Another great game, the characters are extremely detailed and the levels too, but how am i ever gonna get the fourth weapon for Hideyoshi??, the heck do i know.

2-Heroes 3- Without this game i wouldnt know about this website, the greatness of Might and Magic and pretty much anything else related to Mass Rpg,s.the graphics are great(Games are great without pretty graphics,<-that is the motto of true gamers) and the gameplay,s great. I simply love this game and i would have put it on the first place if it weren,t ONE SINGLE GAME that i love more then anything in the world, seriously, and that,s pretty much........

1-Hitman Blood Money- Goddamn, i am seriously going through the fires of hell to play this game, the gameplay is the greatest ever, and all the ways to get the job done is massive, and when you push somebody down the balcony the policys pretty much "Accidents happen"
and the rush i get when hearing "Apocalypse" when blowing up the chandelier over Alvaro D,alvade is well lets just put it small and simple "HOLY MOTHER OF GOD".

And for the last time, YES IM SWEDISH!!

1. I think you are going to be extremly suprised here...
World of Warcraft (3/5). There is a reason that it has more players then the population of a lot of countries and Blizzard really cares about the players and keeps updating the game. The Burning Crusade (2.5/5) sucked. I mean, Illidan hid within the Black Temple during the whole expansion and wasn't even the last boss in it? And everyone betrayed him in the end except for Vashj. And we still don't know why the Naga allied with Illidan and what was going on in Zangarmarsh!
Such a wasted expansion, but it was nescessary for Blizzard to correct their mistakes and make the excellent Wrath of the Lich King expansion (4/5) which introduced many new mechanics such as phasing, was more focused on the lore (no "we kill zul'jin for his treasures lolz"), had the most well-designed zones in the game, probably the best raid (Ulduar) ever and was very accessable for all types of player. Suddenly, a casual player could swim in epic gear and raid.
Cataclysm will make a revamp to the old level 1-60 experience and it's going to be great to see the change. ^^

2. EMPIRE: Total War
You can play as the Swedish Empire, control Lithuania and crush the Danes! You can make north america the United Vassals of Sweden. How do you think I feel? ITS AWESOME!

3. Heroes of Might and Magic III and Heroes of Might and Magic V
Yes, it is better then H5. I played a lot of H3 when I was younger and it's still fun.
In H5 almost all units have an unique ability and the factions were made more unique. H5 has better gameplay but I return to H3 more often.

4. Age of Mythology. Really fun RTS if you are interested in Mythology like me. The Titans expansion ruined it however. Completly overpowered Atlanteans and Titans which made you insantly win the game. Campaigns were cool though.
Little balance existed in this game. Its not exactly like Starcraft (which was to hard for me when I was younger... I will have my revenge in the sequel!)

5. Fable 1
I couldnt come up with what to place here so I took Fable 1. Its a way to short game and the stupid Peter Molysucks promises a lot of things that doesnt get made. Fable 1 still has a magical feeling to it which makes it better then Fable 2 which only has stupid downloadable content and no expansions. Fable 2 was supposed to be free-roaming anc ten times the sizé of fable 1. It sure doesnt feel like that.

Let's see what the cookie monster turns up today.  In no particular order:

1. Fallout: I found it engrossing and very exciting.  Good reactions from npc's and a tight storyline kept me involved.  Sci-fi setting was a bonus.

2. Psychonauts: a very funny game.  Enjoyable interaction and dialogue between characters and quirky use of psychic powers made this game a pleasure.

3. Might and Magic 6 and 7: Classics! Great big worlds filled with fun stuff to do and lots of different monsters to kill.  Occasional puzzles are a nice bonus.  So similar it is really like one game.

4. Wizardry 8: Simply the best party based combat.  Epic in the best sense of the word.  Tons of little details for the keen observer like how the overly militant race of rhinos are actually cowards when involved in combat.

5. Syberia (1  and 2): A very touching personal fairy-tale journey.  Though it is easy in difficulty that keeps you moving through the gorgeous scenery and keeps you involved in the storyline.  I found the simplicity avoided some of the problems of its sister series The Longest Journey.

5)Fallout 1+2 (2/5). Just love the style they've caught. Replayable and interesting.

4) Mass Effect. (2/5). Seemingly huge and unexplorable, it's surprisingly short and small. Yet the story is interesting and a fairly thought out universe. Still, no roleplaying at all.

3) TES III: Morrowind. (3/5) Friggin huge! I've played it for hundreds of hours throughout the years, but I still can't say that I've ever finished the game! In contrast to Oblivion, in wich I can say that I've finished it several times. Yet, no roleplaying, and an OOC feeling.

2) Diablo I. (4/5) The feeling of this game is awsome! It really really reels you in, without you resisting it!

1) HoMM 3. (3/5) Yet another game with feeling. A lot of aspects I like, character build up, tactics and strategy. Still a lot of missing things, quite unbalanced for example. And even if WoG fixes most of these problems, it gives you that OOC feeling with all its numbers and functions.

Still, I'm quite unsure of this order.

This changes constantly and I won't list games I remember with nostalgia cuz I have no idea if they'll still be good if I play them again...

1. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The yummy chocolate version, vanilla Oblivion makes Adrius cry.

2. Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2
Can't decide which one I like more so they get to share a spot.

3. Guilty Gear X2 Reload
Best fighting game ever. Or well, I haven't played Blazblue yet so I'll reserve judgment...

4. Mount & Blade
It never gets boring, NEVER.

5. The Witcher
"...but then I'll come back. I'll slay every lice ridden peasant, anything that moves and can't climb a tree" - Geralt
The most morally gray game I've ever played. I demand sequel soon.

2. Heroes of Might and Magic III
3. Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
4. Final Fantasy IX
5. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Honourable mentions to Baldur's Gate, Warcraft III and absolutely everything that ever came out of Naughty Dog and Insomniac's offices.

5) Final fantasy 12 (huge game, with an interesting visual style, and quite poetic. interesting dynamic combat system for a game of that kind. may get repetitive sometimes)

4) God of war 2 (Super epic game, awesome graphics and visual style, awesome character (despite the story is better in God of war 1 IMO))

3) Deus ex (what isn't awesome about that game? they should remake it with today's graphics and a better AI and it would be perfect)

2) Far cry 2 (yeah, surprising choice, I know. it is only for the online mode and the map editor. if you get to play on a set of very good users made maps, then this game can be very fun)

1) Timesplitters future perfect (once again, multiplayer mode + map editor, but TSFP is better than FC2, better playability, faster paced, more fun, more multiplayer options, more weapons, more options in the map editor... you just can't make your maps as big and detailed as in far cry 2)
