maybe you can force him to use dark magic only & hope he gets sorrow in town & no slow/weakness from spell stones...that'll cripple him for sure because everyone knows dark is the weakest magic

Primus, have you tried taking down my orcs with sorrow, mass confusion and vampirism?  As for the groups they will of course be equal.

c'mon imba Elf, that's a weak as water answer & you know it [I am not at your elite level]...the question should be "how much easier is it to defeat orcs with PM compared to without PM?"...
the presence or absence of PM is a much bigger factor, don't you think? [I'd have much less chance if I had mass weak & mass conf & no PM & not hav/syl/dwa/inf]
& orcs with enlight is a bit different than without enlight?
or if the orcs guess right shatter if opponent is not using dark (I guess you're talking nec or aca vs orcs since other factions can be more combat oriented or maybe choose non-dark magic skill?...but I only extrpolate from the info I can see & don't know how long sorrow has been considered a "thorn" in dark's side...it's not like mass decay & mass vuln are really that bad)
all I am saying is that there are many combinations where bad luck in levelling or spells can affect players...I also kinda feel having 25 skill/perk points (excluding dark revel) gives advantage to the times when I can get certain 2% skills like enlight... because back when there was 23 skill points, typically if orc/knight/dmonlord gets expert enlight I have to sacrifice getting more of another skill like eg. luck (likewise for aca/dun if lucky enough to get defence)...25 skill/perk points lead to a greater difference between best & worst possible battle effectiveness but perhaps there is lesser chances of the weak vs strong duel combination like aca without def vs orcs with enlight/bloodfire...maybe....but that's just my random torts atm

Not really, puppet alone is not enough to win you the game - I am of course talking about orcs with dark shatter against a dark build. And wow that was really random

@Elvin, I already said before orcs are very strong on this map with boosted creatures & have a good chance vs any faction matchup which cannot be said of all others (plus not as much affected by bad luck with spell/shout availability)...AND you're kidding me that Kujin can be taken & she starts with enlight
edit: I noticed some artis still give +4 attributes although not all in one skill...hmm, but I still think most powerful single arti is your horseshoe
@Phoenix, the playa not listed so far is...<I can't say it>

Incorrect Primus, balance is not quite the same with what you were used to so far. Btw I'll be editing Garuna so she starts with leadership instead. And about arties, only the quiver gives +4 which is for shooters only.

Sylvan have: rain of arrows, imbue arrow, mass: haste, endurance, righteous might, defect missile, slow, vulnerability, decay and other spells: frenzu, puppet master, resurrection, magical immunity. Sorry for spam but main problem is: imbue arrow + rain of arrows + frenzy.
What do u think?

whilst RoA frenzy was a big factor & quite fortunately placed, I believe that dark (PM/slow/frenzy) against orcs without shatter dark would be a huge factor even without the RoA frenzy...the sylvan units weren't doing great damage either [hehe, good old great goblin hero is back in game, heh?]
