I preordered the collector's edition 2 months ago. But that trailer. DAMN! I am so playing that game till it goes grey.

Yeah, makes me sad that Starcraft: Ghost which was an FPS-RPG or something like that did not get cancelled.
But
And what is so wrong with SC2?
I played the beta and all three races were even. You do not even notice that there are "only" 3 races because each race is so well designed.
The game in multiplayer is extremly fast-paced and almost a bit stressful and it is not a game where you can take it slow on multiplayer though the single player will be more story-driven and contain some different units from the multi-player game aswell as returning some favorites from the original Starcraft such as the Firebat and the Goliath.

Xerox you would defend a game where the objective is to desecrate churches by burning muslim midgets on their Altars as long as it's a game by Blizzard man.

I'm not planning to buy it, after the beta I am really disappointed. Balance aside, the game is just a blatant copy of SC1. Aside from the graphics and the changed units (which could've been made as well for SC1 in a form of mod..., the game offers nothing new. Unless you consider something as marginal as different armor types of units a novelty, but seriously....
SC2 = SC1 with different graphics.
Sad. We've played this game for 12 years and now all we get is graphics upgrade and different units.

Blizzard already alienated Korea (look up the e-Gaming mess happening over there for details).
That said, I'm only getting this game because I had reserved it years ago. I'm actually waiting till it comes out to have an excuse to go to Gamestop and get Dragon Quest IX as well.
I'm pretty disappointed with how Blizzard has conducted its business recently. And, I consider myself a fanboy, so there.
Fanboy is disappoint. 
(I still marginal hopes for Diablo 3 though. Just barely.)

If they made a completly different game it would not be STARCRAFT 2.
And no, I do not always like Blizzard descions. Like REAL ID.
Your real name would be shown on the official forums. After millions of people complained about it (I did not bother doing it though, I never thought Blizzard would change their minds because of player QQ) - Blizzard changed their minds and cancelled the idea.

Well, not all sequels are bad. 
HOMM 2 to HOMM3 for example, although I miss the loss of the dynamic balance that existed in 2 (some factions are strong early, while others are strong late), which returned somewhat for the latest Heroes game.
But yeah, SC2 is pretty much a glorified, beautified, Starcraft 1 with some balance/unit changes.
Oh, and a counter system which I actually like, but let's face it, does it really solve the problem of zerging your opponent with mass units?
