I caught up just on the Game 2, and man, PartinG toooooooooootally threw that game 
I'm very happy for INnoVation, now that he's announced he's going back to a KeSPA team, this result will most definitely grab the attention of the big teams. SKT.INnoVation, maybe?

Yess! We need ONE Terran in SKT for heavens sake haha. Surely defeating 2 of the highest tier players in Korea gets some attention ^^ (oh I mistakenly thought he played against Maru and won lol, oh well Stats is good too)

Not only from GSL, but this loss also means he won't be at Blizzcon!!
It's so crazy considering he ranked the most kills in Proleague, and being the last and only Terran hope in the darkest hours months of HotS TvP. And now that TvP is swinging in T favour, he loses to PartinG and Stats.
Unbelievable.

Something happened to Maru or he really had a bad day. He had made so many mistakes, he wasn't playing even close to how he usually plays and it is uncharacteristic of Maru to play that "bad".
About Innovation, I hope he goes to SKT too, they really lack good Terran player, and I really hope that Dark, Soulkey and SoO can step up their game, they have been looking mediocre in past months.

My favourite Group B starts nowwww. Rain, EffOrt, Solar, sOs
Has 3 amazing players and Solar who can on a good day do wonders. Sadly no Terrans but still good. I really want Effort and Rain to advance and we kick of by them 2 facing off  sweeeet!

There, FTFY. 
Seriously, Solar has proven himself a lot more than Effort did. Effort was in some kind of big slump, since he was quite successful when KeSPA players transitioned from SCBW to SC2, but then fall off completely. He is really really good in ZvT and that is about it, and judging by how many Zergs and Protoss there are these days, I am not too sure about him.
On the other hand, Solar is like among the best ZvP players, his ZvT is quite good but his ZvZ is lacking a bit from what I've seen, and like I said he has proven himself by getting into Code S multiple times, being good in proleague and placing high in some other tournaments. He lost 3-2 to Taeja in the finals, I can't remember the name of the tournament ~1-2 months ago.

Haha. Effort impressed me last round with very entertaining play, with lings all over the place and attacking constantly. ^^ Victories aren't everything, also the style you play. That said there is nothing wrong with Solar style  But lets root for Solar now against sOs

I've just get here to see Rain already 2-0 Effort, sweet 
As for the Effort vs Solar discussion, Solar has proven himself muuuch more. What effort has in his favour is a sick record vs Maru this year (4-2 in maps, 3-1 in series!), and he was really good in the last weeks of Proleague.

As I said, among the best ZvP players. ^^
When he doesn't die to some cheese or all-in, he is just amazing in straight up play. In these 2 last games, Solar looked like a better player, sOs was helpless.

So Rain vs Solar winners match. I didn't remember that ZvP was one of Solars best match ups! This group is pretty sick then indeed
That last game was indeed the best game to show skill, and Solar just wow, that was great.

If you remember last season of GSL, in one group there were Paralyze, Rain, Life and Solar, Solar destroyed Rain 2-0, then destroyed Paralyze 2-0 to go out first, and Paralyze won against both Life and Rain to get out second.

It is hard to defend against that but I think that Solar made quite a bunch of mistakes. He had three Queens and he started focusing MSC only in the end, when half of his units died already, if he had done that at the start, Rain wouldn't be able to blink up and down again and again.
