I'm all for some unconventional play, but that Muta usage from Hydra showed why they are so needed against speedvacks. Impressive.
So Snute vs Cure, there is hope. Omg just noticed Cure has been to all 3 qualifiers

Snute was looking good on that game, with favourable engagements on his side of the map....I turn away for a 'moment' and when I come back Snute is losing o_O

There is a reason they aren't used against bio lol. Cure must have gone like, "Wow, you made SH. I'll just drop here, and then stim over here where your Hosts are and they die... "
Edit: The start was promising, getting Hellions for free etc. But drops drops drops

Same story on game 2...Cure abusing the vulnerability of SHs, dropping, attacking all fronts and catching the SHs off locusts. Solid game for being over 24 hours playing

Yeah but well, Catallena is terrible SH map anyway. That said, losing like that in game 1 was quite bad.

Lineup is really really good, lineups like this rarely happen in ANY tournament.
Top notch stuff, majority of best representatives from each race, this will be snowing awesome.

It's funny because when they qualified, Solar & Flash were looking like some big names to keep an eye on, but nowadays I expect them to get trashed lulz. It's absurdly stacked.
And yes, Stuchiu is on fire

We don't know that, these players fall into slump and then wake up the next week. Sure, Solar and Flash were looking quite bad in Proleague but for some players Proleague is a lot different than individual leagues(Life is perfect example).
I mean, even with his atrocious play in Proleague, Solar managed to get out of his Code S group.

One must remember there are just a few games played by each player in Proleague. Yeah losing 5 games is bad, but that is not many games overall. That is like a single best of 5 series. That said, although I personally don't think he is horribad suddebly (Aligulac ranks him 11th in the world) I neither expect Solar to do well because tourney is simply soooo stacked. Plus he doesn't have the hype behind him like other players do.

Exactly what I am talking about. Beating Rogue is ok, but beating Dream in ZvT 2-0 is kind of impressive with how good Dream is in that match-up. Solar is still one of the better Zergs though.
