Maru's micro slipped up in the later games, Dear kept landing nice storms that he had no answer for. I wanted Maru to win, but oh well.

Yeah, Maru at the end ate some storms, but I think more key was Dear keeping alive the colossus agian and again. Storm is a one time damage, colossus is huge AoE dps. And if you watched the begginning of the first game, you'll understand why defensive templar tech is not an option 
Now Soulkey vs Trap, this is absurdly good

I think the Blink stalkers were imperative in the win, Maru's vikings didn't do crap, and his heroic marauders were unfortunately not enough. Rooting for Soulkey this game, getting a bit tired of Toss.

As mush as I love Trap, I admit that a PvZ finals would be more entertaining!

Not only PvZ is waaay much more entertaining that PvP, not only Soulkey looks better than Trap, but, worse of all, if Dear vs Trap happen to be the finals, then Dear would not only facing a teamkill, but the qualification of Trap to Blizzcon. So it could be one of the worse finals of all time.
But doesn't look that way ^^

Funny fact: both Soulkey and Dear where in the same Ro16 WCS Korea GSL group, but they didn't face each other

Soulkey must be pretty shocked, he had that game and did nothing wrong in losing it...

NASL may be to blame of some bad things like the caster line-up, but choosing Toronto for the Season Finals...man, that was the best choice they could ever make. The crowd is amazing

With this victory, Dear not only became the second GSL Royal Roader , but also the first player to win a regional title (WCS Korea) and a Season Finals. And at first time too
Dear was "just" a core member of the Proleague winners STX Soul a few months ago, now the best player of the world in this moment.
