To all the tavern spammers, please, read
I don't know about the rest of you guys but here I have a saying: everything like the salt, the salt with measure.
It was great when he had Kuma's tavern. A very interesting and really a HOME away from the HoMM. Good. Then the Elf's tavern came. Kuma's wasn't unque any more but 2 is good too. What happened then? What we here called inflation! Every second thread is a new tavern where you can oreder drinks and sandwiches. I wonder, people, what happened to your fingers? Most of you can never be found on other boards but here to order virtual stuff- oh, yeah. Please, I'll ask you politely. Look at the page. See how many taverns were "born" last night. If you all want to have a tavern, choose one and let it be. But spamming and letting the good threads get buried with your drinks is really stupid. If you want to own a place of your own, well, create your own board! A BB or EZ, doesn't make a difference. This one is dedicated to the heroes and interesting stuff. Not to what you enjoy drinking most online. If you want so badly a good tavern, I have several addresses of great boards where people know their stuff.
Or maybe the solution is to make yet another "drinking" forum?
Tnx for your attention and please, limit down these useless taverns. They are getting on my nerves.
P.S. To Wesley: I'm not trying to act like Shae. When I get mad, I just act like this. I believe you are going to support me with this issue but don't make fu of me because I *will* get mad, boy. Ask Sha how fine it feels.

He hates taverns but he keep on making those stupid threads with taverns and pubs.
(I wonder who is the guy after this, I guess somebody who already came here. but just uses another computer)
A shame that people keep on making taverns.
It's a low thing.. It's only internet.
Okay pretending to be other creatures is okay.But drinking in a internet? Isn't that foolish? I first of all didn't liked kuma's tavern. Then many others came. Delete all that taverns. And give a BAN to the ones that still make them. That should learn them for destroying the tavern of the rising sun.

Banning is not needed
It's for breaking there rules severely and none of the rules is violated. But I suggest -1 QP for everyone who starts a tavern and refuses to delete it. Or the topic being deleted.

I was not so against the avern things 'till this morning. I had the time to enter HC, and I did. WHAM!!! there were more than 4 taverns on the main page! That's not fun.
Now I'm against all those squeeky little, useless things.
Another thing I really hate is that OUAT2 became another tavern! One of the greatest ideas was flooded by tavern stuff, only a miracle will revive it. I'll try to.

anyway, can't you just keep one or two taverns (if absolutely necessary, one for HCers and one for ToHers) ...this is just getting ridiculus.. it is just an excuse for spamming...

No, I'm not Shae but my patience is a limited quantity. When it gets too far, it gets too far. I'd ask RMS to delete the last several taverns and leave 2-3 who he thinks are best. Kuma is OK and maybe Elf's- by Nimrod but THAT is more than we can handle. Where did the barrer island and naked girls go? Those were fun, this is spamming.

I think the first OUAT ewas great. Do you remember that boar community? Everybody being killed and resurrected all the time... That was funny. Since somebody directed OUAT2 to one of the local taverns, it just stopped being so nice and cool. I say keep Elf's, Kuma's and Unicorn Glade. A penalty to everyone who makes a new tavern, and if somebody starts his/hers 5th tavern - delete that person's account.

Please, RMS,
I have several requests
1. Close those taverns or better, delete some. Give -QP for if you think it's right
2. Bring back some of the worthy threads. When you have the time.
3. Please, give a QP for Lith on that detectives thing. He deserved it. Some other moderations of the sort ought to be done as well. IMHO.

If I may:
5. Close OUAT2, because it's not OUAT anymore, and open Part 3. And, if it won't be too hard, delete the ruining kind of posts there (like what happened to OUAT2). If I can help in some way, I will.

RMS I don`t think it`s a wise choice to delete some taverns.
If some people don`t like them then they shouldn`t read them or post in. I personally am not interested in any of them but I don`t want them to be deleted. If a person who made tavern enjoys it then let him/her be. Penalize stuff like insults, swearing,...but don`t delete.

Realize, that some people here dont care what you think, and dont see you as the resident demigoddess. Maybe you should tone down and stop thinking that everytime you ask something, it should be done.
Btw, why does Lith get a quality point? did he solve a puzzle? if so, why does that get you a quality point?

I don't read the aforementioned taverns so I'll not comment on their contents.
I'll agree that taverns are indeed popping up everywhere, but hey 4-5 taverns is not much on the front page. A while ago the Altar had 8-9 threads just about creatures and how they look. They're now reduced to a more humble level. Chances are that the same will happen to the new taverns, soon they will dwindle in numbers because people tire of posting to multiple taverns. And if they don't then clearly the community members wants lots of this type of conversation.
If you don't like the taverns then don't post in them. Posting in them is what keeps them alive. Instead bring back the threads you want to talk about. Promote what you want to talk about instead of swigging ale in the local taverns.
To me it sounds like a very drastic move if the mods for the Tavern close Taverns because people are posting in them!
Also I don't think starting a Tavern in the Tavern is an offence that could warrant a -qp. If the same individual starts multiple taverns and is warned against starting another then, yes. Otherwise no. (-qp are given only for breaches of the code of conduct, and it's awkward to see the starting of a tavern as a breach of the code.) The subjective observation that we don't need another Tavern in the tavern is not enough to warrant a -qp.
The forum must handle this in a more rational way. Discussion should be kept free, a part of the price we pay for this is that all the threads we like will not be on the first one or two pages of the forum.
We must all accept that there will be some topics on the first pages that we have no wish to be part of.
While I don't agree with your proposals in remedying the situation, this thread may at least serve the purpose of getting heroes community members to reconsider their view on which discussion is important and which topics to post to in order to keep them alive.

Fine, rychen. I may want to be a supreme goddess but you happen to be a supreme tosser. You really think you speak good stuff and people should admire you for your bull****.
