"When we have time, I can provide you with what metal you need of what heaped around on the ground. I can manipulate metal, weaking part of it until its easy to rip it off is a simple task compared to shaping. I think I also can rip out of raw materials closer to its base, and manipulation around that, it does take ages however when its something more complex than just drawing out iron."

While the other two were discussing stategies, Matt watched as the plants drew nearer. Despite their bulk, the creatures were not slow. He knew that he needed to distract them, and he had figured out just how to do it.
Without warning he broke into a flat out run, right into the awareness zone of the plants, but (he hoped) outside of their striking range. Which caused the creatures to try to strike at him, but they were just short. They started following, slowly catching up to him, as although in decent shape for his job, he still wasn't in near enough good shape.
He had anticipated this, and just as two large tentacle like appendages head toward him, he slid...straight through an upturned car. This was his advantage. He could pass through objects, and the creatures most certainly could not. Even though there was no way he could harm the behemoths enough to stop them, he could keep them occupied until he couldn't run anymore.
The appendages struck, causing a huge dent in the vehicle, but metal against flesh..even plant flesh, was a losing battle. He'd have some time before they got through. They would get through, and they wouldn't stop until they got him, or they were stopped. He hoped his companions would not just sit around discussing while this happened.

"Oh nice. Looks like four eyes got himself in trouble." said Jeremy.
He then took out his taser and shot the behemoth. It jerked around and wriggled as the electricity coursed through it.
"GET OUTTA THERE WHILE IT'S SHOCKED, GENIUS!" Yelled Jeremy at the poor fellow huddling from the homicidal plants of death.

Matt yelled back. "Don't worry about me, get to the Vault! Get something to handle these things permanently, and get back! I can hold them off, I hope!" While it was stunned he did take the opportunity to move close to a brick wall, still within it's range, and make as much commotion as possible. When it approached he would just step through the wall and keep running.

"You don't understand, these things don't get tired, are faster then us, and .." has to step through the wall as the creatures started coming around. He runs through several walls with the creatures lumbering after him, due to the effects of the electricity. The walls slow them down, but luckily not him. It doesn't slow them down much however.
He runs out to the street again. "Already have my trail, if you don't hurry NOW I am dead. I gave the other two the code! Go man GO. I so do not want to die!" Moments later the creatures bust through the wall again, and again head toward Matt. He looked around quick, needed something that would take them time to bust through. Most of the walls wouldn't help much, but he noticed a metal building that looked like a warehouse. It would be close, but he could JUST make it, would give him a small breather also.
He took off for the warehouse.

The plants were gaining on Matt when several small objects flew into the air from the general direction of the Vault. The were flying in a very high arc, but when they were almost right above the plants they suddenly plummeted almost straight down. Each one of them exploded right under each plant, blowing them to little pieces. As the group looked in the direction the grenades flew from they a saw a man in a tank top and military pants all covered in grenades of all sorts. He was leaned against a building and playing with one of his grenades in his hand.
"You bloody idiots!" He cried out to them, "Here I was quietly trying to enter the Vault, I was already going to try and blow the bloody door to bits when you all started this bloody ruckus! You got a bloody death wish or something? Fancy turning yourselves into dinner for the beasties from the mist? Well if so, then leave me out of it, 'cause ol' Tony isn't going to go down that easily!"

Matt is thrown to the ground by the force of the blast. Shaken he stands up, never so glad to still be in one piece. Suddenly his face goes white. He starts backing up, toward the group. Nobody else notices or sees anything yet. He turns toward them, and in his best commanding voice (which is not very good). "VAULT! NOW!!!" and he takes off running as fast as he can, not the little sprint he was doing to keep the plants interested, a flat out heads down, panicked RUN.
At first nobody can tell what the heck he saw, or is running from, but from behind a building comes a 8' tall humanoid shape. Only it has tusks, horns, wings, and a tail. ((Imagine a red incredible hulk like creature with the above description)). When it sees the group, it expands its wings, and bellows. Up in the air it goes, and it comes racing toward the group.
Matt is not bothering with explanations, not stopping to see if the group is following, and not looking behind him to see how close this thing is.

Tony Jones was a bit surprise at the well-dressed man reaction at first, but then he saw the demonic creature behind the man. He muttered something under his breath, attached the grenade back to his belt and started running towards the vault just in time for the man to catch up to him.
"WHAT IN BLOODY HELL IS THIS THING?!", Tony screamed at the top of his longs while running besides the well-dressed man.

A stanger used high power explosives to eliminate the plants, whom our walltroughrunning loremaster had attempted to drag out moments ago.
Then he panicked and started running, with a sort of good reason:
That thing had wingspan of several meters, the noise of its leathery wings is quite weird compared to normal creatures you hear. It was maybe the size of a human in height, it had a roughly human shape. It was likely blessed by the demons themself, or was a demon with its magnificent tusks and tail.
Our loremaster panicked of it, more than a good enough reason to run regardless of our chances against it. I guess they was grim regardless.

Soon after Jeremy arived, Mathis slipped Johnston a piece of paper containing directions towards and the entrycode to the Vault. Johnston could not help against the plants. Partially because Johnston was thoroughly digusted by the pungeant stink they eminated, the other part was that Johnston had little vital organs he could snipe. So while Jeremy was discussing tactics with Fredrik, Johnston quietly slipped out of the group. They would not notice his absence, as Johnston was only seen when he wanted to be.
Johnston had made his way up to a rooftop when the plants were dealt with, but soon a new threat emerged.
"They took good care of those overgrown shrubberies, but that Demon is something else. Let's see if old man Davis can lend a hand."
Johnston took out his Aeger and tried to target the beast. The Demon was chasing his, well he could not call them friends yet, companions. The Demon half ran and half fluttered after them, which did not make it easier for Johnston to shoot the dang thing. Everytime he got a decent aim on the head the wings would flutter and ruin his sighting.
"Johnston, old boy, you will have to think of something else."
Then Johnston spotted a building along the road, it had a balcony that was about to collapse and Johnston, after focusing his eyes for a bit, could see it would collapse with a welplaced bullet.
Also underneath was a semi-armoured window of a clothingshop. The window was filled with mannequins and real lifelike ones at that. If he could place a glanceing shot on the window, he could have the bullet ricochet towards the Demon, hoping to lure it away and under the balcony.
Johnston would give it a try and loaded two bullets into the magazine. He took aim and fired at the window. The bullet bounced off the window with a howling pang. The bullet tumbled toward the Demon and slightly nicked it's wing. The glass wasn't as armoured as Johnston had surmized as it shattered in a shower of glasshards.
Still it was enough to draw the Demons attention as it saw the mannequins and roared at them.
"Come on, ye ugly hellspawn. Fight the dollies."
Bellowing in a demonic tongue the Demon stalked over, just what Johnston wanted. He aimed at the balcony and tried at the same time to see if the Demon was in possition. When the Demon was close enough, Johnston pulled of the second round and the balcony collapsed allong with a big section of wall that it should have been attached to. Stone and mortar rained down upon the Demon's head, battering him down to his knees. Johnston saw that his companions had made a run for it.
Johnston backed away from the edge, he would meet up with the men at the vault.

We arrived at the vault, someone had put a nice trap or disabling move from a quiet position. Most likely the gentleman.
Of course, a few seconds after arriving at the vault we heard a loud break in cement along with steel and glass. If we was lucky the weight had dented the demon, if we was super lucky that thing actually had internal organs. I for one looked at our exhausted liberian, who seemed to have the darned layout of the place or something.

Matt quickly lead to the main Vault, and entered the code. With a *hissss* the Vault opened. "Inside! Inside!" he motioned to move quickly. "It can't get in!" he pointed to the floor where circles filled with ancient writing were, and to the walls which were coated in the same writing, and what looked like..Salt. "That rubble won't stop it for long, it is not of this world." he looked like he was going to faint from exertion. Passing through objects had taken a lot out of him.

"Just past the second door, this part we call the 'cage'. A small buffer between the vault entrance and the actual weapons. As for the Demon out there, it is one of the more dangerous we will ever find." by now he was inside. The buffer area was a small area, and it was a bit crowded, but the other door just had a bank style mechanism (the wheel you turn that looks like a ship wheel). It wasn't locked, because the outer vault could keep just about anything out.
"In the legion, I'd say it is the one of the most dangerous creature we will ever face. It is called a Pit Fiend. Take the cruelest, meanest, foulest human ever..torture them, strip away any humanity or mercy they MIGHT have had, give them supernatural powers, and you have one of these creatures. In the hierarchy of the underworld it goes like this. Lucifer, THE Legion, The Devil Princes, the demon princes, and then Pit Fiends. Now as we know the legion is led by the one calling itself Legion, so we don't have to worry about its boss. Which trust me is a good thing."
"Since devils and demons princes don't get along with each other very well, we also won't see them. Which leaves the Pit Fiend as probably the second scariest thing out there. At least IT has a weakness however. I'll get to that in a bit. Pit Fiends are the soldier class of demon. They are bred to fight, and are nearly indestructible. In fact, of the weapons we have here in the vault, maybe five percent can hurt them, even less can kill them."
He moves to the inner vault, and shows the group the very limited selection of weapons that will kill a Pit Fiend : 12 crossbow bolts tipped with silver*, and 12 bullets made of the same@.
*- The tips are carved with archaic runes, blessed by 40 priests for 40 nights, and the wood of a virgin ash (one that had never been cut or handled by man before).
@- All silver, same runes, same blessing. Only they are also hollow tip, and in the tip is Virgin Blood.
He warns "None of these can be reused, even if they miss entirely. Make each one count. The bullets will surprisingly fit any firearm ever designed. Both can kill any demon or devil, except the Legion itself or higher."
He also points out a shotgun, and some rocksalt bullets. "Won't kill them, but will drive them away. Salt is a symbol of purity, and they do not like it much. Rocksalt also works on ghosts, spirits of just about any kind, but remember won't kill them..just make them flee for a bit."
The inner vault is six sided, with just about every type of weapon you can imagine (and ammo for those kind that need it). "If the Legion itself comes, the demon that runs the rest of the legion that is, we are done. Nothing here can even give it a stubbed toe."

Johnston enjoyed a quick snack on the rooftop. He had not eaten that day and now was not the time to loose his stamina.
After that Johnston climbed down. During the climb Johnston noted a flying shape, but even for his eyes it was to far away to notice what it was.
Johnston made an almost casual stroll towards the Vault. He kept hidden at all times, but that was nothing of an effort to him. He carefully avoided the pile of ruble where the Demon still was or used to be. Johnston had not seen him get out, but that was no guarantee.
Then Johnston was struck with an idea. So he backtracked to where they killed the Triceratopses. The took out his knive and started carving up one the hindlegs. "I've always wanted to try me piece of dinosaur."
Every other slash of his knife, Johnston looked around to make sure nothing was around to sneak up on him. After a couple of minutes, Johnston had carved out some pieces he deemed edible. He got some plastic bags out his utilitybelt and put the pieces inside, to reduce the smell they would eminate. With the wrapped pieces of meat inside several his many pockets, Johnston made his way to the Vault again.
And after an uneventfull walk, Johnston stood infront of the door to the Vault. He took the paper out, entered the accescode, opened the door and stepped in.
