Tried Gothic 3 with the latest fanpatch (1.75).
God, this game still sucks, even when it's bug-free.

It's a nice game (emphasis on the no weapons  )
This should delve deeper into it .
I take it that your brother is a manly man that wants to prove to the world that he's worth his salt. (well if you enjoy the sound of brotherly fright then this is the game to get him, just make sure he plays it at night ^^)

Its atmosphere is too thick to cut with a knife.
It feels like it's choking me sometimes. Everything about it is just tailored to freak you the **** out.
The gameplay mechanics are a work of genius. The absence of light makes your insanity increase, which makes things creepier and creepier until you can't even walk, so you need to stay in the light... but guess who can see you in the light? I DON'T KNOW BUT I KNOW IT'S WATCHING ME.
I'm scared ****less.
@Ivor: Not watching cuz it spoils scary moments.

Thanks guys, but damn!! it sounds too scary for me and if I buy it, I will have to play it with him. Holy moly, I'm likely to pee my panties.

Can't wait to put my brother in front of this game.
He couldn't play F.E.A.R.... it freaked him out too much. It's not that scary in atmosphere (which is what Amnesia's good at), but it does have a good amount of jump-scares.
I remember him having fun with it until suddenly a stealth-trooper jumped into the water in front of him and disappeared, and he just stood right up, said "**** THIS" and walked out of the room and never played it again.
EDIT:
Alright... one or two rounds of Tribes: Ascend to calm me down and then straight to bed. G'night HC.

Amnesia is quite awesome. Especially the bugs crawling on the screen. And those invisible waterish monsters. Gee, that one's actually freaking me out.
I am incapable of feeling fear but I guess it must be scary

Well, sadly I have sort of a sociopathic personality
I think the times where you have to hide in corners are the most scary in Amnesia. Remember, you lose sanity points by looking at the monsters. The less sanity you have, the more empowered they become, being able to notice you from large distances and getting a boost to their speed. As counter-intuitive as it seems, you're better off turning your back to them and looking at the wall.

Have been playing Fallout 2 again for some time.
I did reach the final boss, Godzilla. I know I have done this several times in the past but now, even if I turn the turrets and his guards against him, he will still stomp them, eat my gauss rifle rounds, and break my spine in half.

...my... my lamp ran out of oil... and my tinderboxes are out...
Never felt so vulnerable in a video game before.
Every time I see a closet I make a mental note of where it is so I can run back and hide in it. I feel very safe in there for some reason.
I can feel that one day THEY are gonna find me in there... and I'll be scared so ****less that I'll black out.

he should lose against turrets alone. Guards are overkill.
And gauss rifle sucks, use gauss pistol

Seventh try did the trick (with both guards and turrets and he still did quite some damage).
