That's so lame and unprofessional lol.

Origin sounds like a worse version of Uplay, if that's possible.

Origin is decent as in it's somewhere between Steam and Uplay.

All three are crap but at least origin works. Not once has it stopped me from playing my games. *krhm* Heroes 6 Uplay *krhm*

@SG:
I find the hover rather useless. But that might because I'm too good at platformers so my jumps are already good. I don't do a lot of "OH CRAP EVADE." Or if I'd need it the hover is too slow for it.
All the characters that shoot have the same strength shot. One volley equals one fireball from mario at full strength.

I don't know much about tricky link stages, his ability to jump well and jump on things with his sword makes him an all around ownage machine. He's small too so he's amazing. That extra size on Samus really worsens her rating. (Screw attack on fly fish stages though )

The thing I hate most about sophia is her width, you can't jump on the ax unless you lure bowser so, SO far away.

@blood:
Age of Wonders is a good addition to Heroes and Disciples, although quite different.
Challenge does not make a game better. Challenginess in a good game is a plus. Challenge in a bad game is a frustration.

Well, you see, etherlords was, politely put, absolute garbage.

Well, I must disagree. The game was fun to play, has a unique climate and art style. I really enjoyed it. You may dislike this game, but calling Etherlords absolute garbage is, politely put, strange to me. Either you dislike this kind of games or it didn't match your tastes... Or you just dislike Nival for Heroes V

Plus it's a unique combination of Heroes-style map exploration and a card game. Even today you will not find many of those...

@Bloodsucker
It's hard to find some info on Etherlords, because it's quite an old game and it's niche. At the time of it's release games from Russian market weren't quite popular, especially in the West. Only after the success of games like Kings Bounty (remake) or some indie games people started to become interested in more titles from eastern developers (we're speaking about fantasy TBS games here, but this could be said about many other games). Times have changed and with bigger budgets and possibilities eastern gaming markets are having sth of a Renaissance

Back to the topic, I personally wouldn't even know about this game if it weren't a full version addition to a popular gaming magazine back in the day...

And like I said in a different thread, Etherlords 2 is basically the first game with an additional faction and some more cards/machanics/game enchantments. If I recall the biggest addition was expanded map exploration in the campaigns (and those were overall a bit more complex)...

Wow, you tried Disciples and Heroes and other games like that, but you haven't played Age of Wonders!?

SHAME ON YOU!

Age of Wonders 1 is too old, but you may like it. Try Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic expansion, 15 races, a lot of unique units(and a lot of non-unique units ).

Btw, Age of Wonders 3 is coming 31st of this month, if you like AoW2 you are gonna like AoW3 also.

Take a look at the site, you have classes on top of the site and every class has a video for itself.

I love Disciples 2, Heroes 2, Heroes 3, Heroes 5, all of them are really damn good, but Age of Wonders is probably my favorite TBS.

Jade Empire In Style, curious about the reworked mechanics. Glorified rhythm game, but has its moments. Fillion and Cleese as voice actors!... Rob King is in the mix as well, beside Jack Wall, so music's top notch too.

I had Shadow Magic a few years ago, I played it only once.
I was always being warned that I didn't had enouch income to grow such a big army, but I ignored it.
Suddenly my air fleet rebelled and destroied my tower.

It was the first and only time I played the game.
Same append in WoG with some amazing mod (I think it was Phoenix), suddenly my troops abbandoned me.
Last time I'd play.

But I'm trying real hard to really play the games (not just win them by any means including cheat) so I will try it again.

Even if I don't understand why sholdn't I build gigantic armies...

You should build gigantic armies.
They just appreciate it if you can pay them too.

It's hard to say this but u r right, even if fights may be amazing the game sucks. I saw a level three hero with no special army, computer simply doesn't buy spells and runes win a match in a strong monsters dwelling. I made three fights with my main there, I had a lot of decent spells and an hero with a apropriate speciallity (treant's guile and really a lot pf treants) and first fight I had to reload more then once, the other were hard any way.
Now the amazing level eight he got from that fight I killed with a level three with some spells... Peace of cake.

It's a very bad simulation and happens every time.

Titanfall is aaaaamaaaazing.

Naturally I designed my Titan to be a close range berserker that punches things until they violently explode.

That feel when I get into dashing range and zhoooom forward into the enemy with my fist raised, sending his titan reeling backwards as I move in for the next punch. POW POW POW. Panics and dashes back and fires, catch his wild fire with Vortex Shield and send it right back at him, then dash and PAWNCH again!

Then rip his arm off and beat his cockpit into pieces with it because **** you that's why.

Wallrunning is also just too much fun. I look down on people on the streets playing this like it's a cover shooter while I fly across the skies, dropping down on Titans and jumpkicking players in the face at over 9000 sanics.

50 GB download was harsh and the game is seemingly quite unoptimized... good thing that while my PC is getting rather old it still puts out quite a bit of power... my HD5850 still serves well.
