I'd like to ask, how do you make those .gif files to put them here for preview? Can you directly convert .def to .gif, or it is more complicated?
Also, do I need to upload them somewhere else or I can directly upload them here to show in my post?

@KevinHann, Here is the HC guide to post images. About the gifs, you'll just need to extract the frames you want from the def with DefPreview, and then open for an example Easy Gif Animator, and just make the gif  .

Egyptian town is nearly ready,all creatures except lvl6 un upg.:
Also castle,fort and citadel are in game!New town and creature background,also in game!I will pots other screenshoots ready!
Thanks to Salamdre and Itjustme for awesome creatures who they created.

Could also replace Thunderbirds with some mythological creature which fits, or if not, just remove them and put another version of Roc (or make Roc the upgraded one)?

Rocs,in egyptian mythology,Bennues(are aleardy renamed).Pheonixes are from egyptian mythology.I can make Bennu(renamed roc) Pheonix and put there camels or elephants.Or I can put Camel as commander.About buildings the majority of them will be changed.Level 6 unupg. can be mummy with shoot animation,also rock and axe def will be changed.Names for buildings:
1.Desert barracks
2.Beduin Tent
3.Watch Tower
4.Deep Lake
5.Camel/Elephant Stables or Cliff Nest
6.Temple of Osiris(like in Abu Simbel,in rock)
7.Fire Nest or Lava Cave

Just my two cents: those creatures have very different lights and textures than original ones, thus mixing them is not the best idea IMO.
I am sure something different than roc and phoenix will give more visual cohesion to the town. Elephant and I can make for you a suitable unit replacing rocs, just give suggestions what you look for. There are many birds/dragon models I did not touch yet because I want only human factions.

If you research more, you will see Bennues like Stork, not like Roc. Need make new one

A New Dawn (mod working title)
Here is a quick shot of some of the changes I have already made. I started with the idea of changing a couple things and it grew so much over time that I'm having trouble organizing a full changelog, but I need one to structure my work and make it easier for further changes. What you see here is some of the Castle units (but not complete lineup). The enemies aren't from the same faction, it's just a quick preview until I have some time to pull out the correct shots. I'm a little ashamed to show incomplete work to experienced modders. Please, excuse my leniency - you will note the Frozen Dragon is a 1-hex monster, I added it yesterday and forgot to fix that. It is on my to-do-list.
I will try to spend some much needed time on starting a thread about this in the proper way. There are too many things I have done so far, even if some are still raw or even flawed, but I am unprepared to present them at the moment.
