If we can safely assume that gorgons and manticores are not natural creatures then their purpose can only be the purpose of their creator, be it to create hell on earth, or usher in a new golden age of peace, or just to guard her stash of liquor.

Hmmm
I readed past a couple of stories you wrote.. But it's much to hard to play badguy...
I can't find my way in..
Also How do we meet and stuff? When were fight?
Do we actually meet?
Does oldtimer meet Lith?
Or does sir dunco lives inside a different sentuary?

You meet by writing a character into someone else's area and start the conversation. If you notice both SirDunco and Wizardboy are on their way to meet me at the tower, so we will interact pretty soon.

There are way to many goodguys.
I need some bad guys aswel.
To see something from them first.
I'm not good at starting something...
And I heard from somebody that sir dunco likes to play god.

u know u don't have to be either a good guy or a bad guy....u can be a good-bad guy... ;p
i mean u can be a lord or some general who are good to his people but his actions might seem hostile or unhealthy to other people's course of action so this person might be a bad guy in this people's eyes....o do u get it??
like the last character i introduced in the first legends of the making.....he is general to the Lord of Weissschwanburg and he is loyal to his people but he is one hell of a ruthless b!tch to other people because he wants the best for his people.....u will see more of him later on....

DON'T make your characters too powerfull... even if some of hem are of devine nature, they should not be able to beat a dragon senseless with one hand tied behind their back... let's get realistic here ...err... forget the last comment

Lith, you gave me an ideea...Next time i fight a dragon, i think i'm gonna' try both hands behind my back...killing dragons with one hand is boring since i can't do anything with the other hand(get those grose thoughts out of your head! Yes, i mean YOU!)...

Do you mean both good and bad guys?
Bad guys should be some stronger(not immortal) then goodguys. Because they have to find a Spectacular way to kill the badguy..
Also there are MORE goodguys then badguys...
Not that i'm immortal. but i'm a really good gladiator/assassin. And my NPC aren't that weak aswel 
However.
Vasilisk And morphus have strong powers.
Vasilisk is very wise and knows alot. He also has vemon/acid powers and summon stuff. And has the six sence(something with illusions)
Morphus can morph into everything he wants.
however. He can't use the specials of this creatures. He has the strenght however. But he get tired pretty fast.
Arachna is a wimp right now.
She can only do some unpowerfull poison things. And she can do spiderweb traps and spiderweb ensnare and summon spiders. Later on she will get greather powers but that's another story.

Forget about notions of good and evil.
No one does evil for the sake of doing evil, people just do what is in their best interest while others lable them good or evil.
Just come from your character's point of view, others will lable them.

I want to thank all you guys for getting back into the roleplay. I really enjoy reading everyone's posts and can't wait for people to start interacting and fighting or helping each other.
But...
We need more frequency of posts.
So if you are working on a long post, think about breaking it up into smaller pieces, so that the roleplay keeps moving toward the top. If you only have enough time to write once a week, write a two or three part post and save the parts and post them every couple of days.
This kind of story roleplay is driven by people posting and others reading them and getting excited about their part of the story. If a few days start to pass between anyone posting at all, the momentum starts to slow and the roleplay begins to struggle.
***For people who want to join Roleplay**
Please jump right in, read the roleplay and see what kind of style you want to write in. If you have any questions please IM or e-mail me or Lith and we will help you out.
Alot of us have some good background stories going on, lets try to move some of them towards interaction with other posters.

I deleted your post in the Profiles and I am reposting it here...
in a small land between mountains lived some orcs and goblins.
They had been big warriors but they were no more. They had recently lost a lot of battles against dwarves, elves and humans, and were not very numerous anymore, and noone feared them.
There was born Hurglack, a goblin.
He grew fast and was very ambitious, but he couldn't do anything with the poors orcs who lived with him.
So he went this land, travled mountains, and then arrived in a town were lived a lot of different races. There were humans, elves, but also minotaurs, strange necromancers etc.
He was the only goblin here, so everybody called him hobgoblin, and he's never called Hurglack anymore.
Then hobgoblin learned the fight, and got a lot of friends.
But he was very ambitious and left this town to prepare a conquest.
Hobgoblin is now working for Duath'Meril, (an incubus if my memory is good), but he's always looking for experience.
PS: hobgoblin is more loyal and more clever than usual goblins.

New Alliances
As we transition from H3 to H4 the roleplay world is starting to reflect that change. Here are a few things to keep in mind during your posts.
1. Magic is changing, we are currently having a war between Myself and wizardboy and Acc with the elementalists and planeswalkers. This war will help show the change between elemental magic and the new 5-star school magic.
2. Fortress is gone, I had a group of crusaders clean out their area, other areas could follow.
3. Centaurs leave elves and go to the barbarians, not fleshed out yet.
4. Orcs leave the barbarians and join the warlocks, Not fleshed out yet.
5. Dwarves leave the elves and join the academy, not fleshed out yet.
6. Heretics join forces with the dead.
So when you post your story keep in mind that these transitions are taking place, but aren't set in stone yet. Alot of chance for conflict and even wars.

...yeah, I haven't finished reading all the posts yet, so I was wondering if anyone has set any certain dates,time frames or whatever?
...because although I could simply be playing out the future times to come in the main story's present setting, but I just made it so that 50 years has past since the times I described in my last postings...that way I account for all the changes that have taken place, and different things have happenned to all my characters...I even killed one off
...already recreated one mani character, and plan to create maybe another some time in the future...
...so basically, of human races, most people have either gotten really old, died, or have been affected been some kind of a time warp through the chaotic disturbances caused by atmospheric and celestial changes and collisions. Therefore, then I guess the lifespan of some guys could be prolonged or something

My main character will be a young male elven-human or something...annyway, he's of mixed blood...and sooner or later, I hope it doesn't ruin the surprised, but I'm gonan bring in another young elve-human that's female or something...neither are really brawny...muscular but lean...and the guy is already under surveillance by some evil dudes, like everyone else is...
