The water walk scroll is a few steps south from the last AI town (the one behind the blue gate). Just look around.
The pyramid is upper side, on rough terrain, between Gem and Orrin's towns.
AI can't get them, all objects in this map are scripted only for human.

It will happen again. Do as I said and everything fine. When in battle, choose banshee attack the first on the list. It will reset the variable that produced the bug. We will release an update version when someone finish the map, so all informations are done (improved help hints, fixed translation and such). It is hard to fully test such maps because of the 16 variants possible.

If you want, I can send you your save fixed.

(save fixed until you visit again the palace)

If you visit again the palace of dreams, on next battle click right on "wait" then choose the option redlined.


Only for the first battle after visiting POD. It will fix the variable (we will update the problem). After that you can switch to whatever attack you want.

Its not working for me on 20%.

btw some computer main heroes die on neutrals so I cant defeat them
ergo I cant go to blue tent legally(need to use cheat to unblock the way)

All full options work only on 200% difficulty and if at least first growth option was selected (no cancel). I removed most of restrictions, but leaved the ones governing the balance, rewards and AI bonuses. Initially Woodmelon prohibited even Heroes specialties if not 200%, the story dialogs and the customized End. (story finished when you defeated AI if less than 200%)

He was right, as only on 200% AI will survive because bonuses. If AI dies (means you choose less than 200%) you can get the blue tent by paying 200 mithrils. I added the cheat option when I was testing the chinese version because I got some bugs. Later, I and Jim Vogan fixed all bugs but leaved cheat just in case something goes wrong, however I don't think it is anymore necessary.

I tried with Orrin, in most difficult options, and won first 3 battles with little lost. But I can't go any further, because the other monsters are much stronger and I had used out of money.

I can't beat those ghost behe guarding City of Ruins.
I uploaded a save just before the battle here.
I tried fighting them trice, but on every try at some point a crash like this one happenned:

A completely unrelated note: I can cast all kinds of spells on Banshee with Power of The Dragon Father artifact equipped and no orbs present. Other troops, including clones of Banshee, are immune to haste and similar.

I don't know how you want to kill 2000 behemots with 7 phoenix, so I don't know how to test your save. Give me more hints about tactics used.
I suppose you lure them for 4 turns using phoenix rebirth while cloning your henchman, but I doubt it is enough to kill them all.

What are the phoenixes in the left corner protecting? The banshee? Then she will clone outside the battlefield, thus the crash.

I was able to play 15 battle turns until I died, and no crash.

Battle plan:
1. In tactic phase place both henchmen and commander in top left corner with some space for clones. Make phoenixes(3 are enough forthis task) shield them.
2. Use wait-hit-return to cover(top left corner shielded by phoenixes and obstacles) for a couple of turns with all your no-retal troops.
3. I also tend to spread phoenixes, that don't protect the corner across the battlefield, but that might not be nessecery.
4.  Try to stone/paralyze behe with your attacks. That disables a stack for the next 3 turns. Naturally, you don't attack a stoned/paralysed stack.
5. After you have about 6-7 hell baron stacks cover is no longer nessecery. Just attack active stacks to disable them for the next 3 turns. You only need to disable 2-3 stacks a turn. If your Banshee casts bind(like a treant) on a stack it's all the better. You can ignore it as long as none of your stacks are adjacent to it.

In the image I posted battle is in stage 5. Before the attack that triggered crash all tiles around Banshee were free. Phoenixes in the corner are guarding nothing, they are just getting out of my way since they can't help disabling stacks.
Oh, and never ever attack with Phoenixes. They do next to no damage, don't have no-retal, can neither bind(like commander or archangel, sometimes Banshee) nor stone(like Hell Barons and sometimes Banshee). Also those Phoenixes rebirth again and again and again... I guess this is thanks to the ring of magi.
In case you decide to take armour of damned off, just cast slow. It is the only important spell it casts. Oh, and cast haste just in case some behe stack gets cured(devils might need this haste then)

Edit: Oh, I just noticed, that just before the crash I had exactly 20 stacks.

The battle goes ok for me, no crash. I guess it has something to do with maximum cloned stacks. You had 20 (max) and banshee still tried to clone.

I looked at the 2 saves posted here and there seems to be some problems. Why do the henchman have so many lives (angel or banshee)? Normally they should die if one of the virtual stack dies no? Also, isn't there a limit on the number of rebirth of sacred phoenixes? Well, if was fun anyway to see the potential of the main heroes . I wonder if someone played with unlimited growth (means no 4000 limit) .

That's how the henchman works in WoG. They will die after battle if one from group was killed but will last in battle until the last is killed. The phoenix rebirth was not changed but he has a combo which adds a bonus. And not only I played with growth >4000 but I even added "monsters get help". Try that and you will be served.
