Going back to the original topic:
That sounds like something I'd want to go to too. If for no other reason than to see The Gootch attempt to give Scalia a wedgie. Maybe I could even film it discretely and put it on YouTube... nah, I'd probably get arrested too then. But seriously, it sounds really interesting. I've already met several members of Congress, one I even convinced to co-sponsor a bill which I told you about. It would be cool to run into members of another branch of government. 
P.S. PM, I finally got a job. Not what I want, but who gets anything close to what they want in this economy?

Hey Wolf --
You bet you can come under my wing. You'll have to fly and stay on your own dollar though. Unfortunately the conference in in Colorado Springs and I live in Denver. So I stay at a hotel there. If you save thirty or forty clams a month between now and then, you'll have it covered. Hell, at that rate you might even have enough to actually stay at the Broadmoor, where all the bigwigs stay (although I've never done that, it's only the Doubletree for me).
You are a perfect candidate for being a guest at this particular function (but you can't hang with me while we're there if you are easily embarrassed...) We'll definitely talk details on the side. If it affects you the same way it affects me every time I go, I walk around feeling both intellectually nourished and renewed, and at once incredibly humbled for weeks.
