Haha, thanks Thundermare. I just called home and walked my mom through downloading the beta on Steam. Hopefully it will be ready when work is over.

Man I remember the days when I could call my mom and have her do stuff like that for me.
Then I moved away and now live the bachelor life and have no one who can do that for me. Oh well, I hear Steam download is going super fast so it should be quick tonight when I get back.

Haha, yeah, I'm moving out this weekend, actually, in which case I'll have to call my girlfriend to download betas while I'm at work. She might not be so keen on it, though, if I come home and just play Heroes 6 all night. She might rather uninstall betas while I'm at work.

Well I'm able to download the beta simply by logging in my Uplay account that had the private closed beta one.
While i cannot test the download yet, I assume its the same key once you download the game.

Where exactly do i go to use my beta key? I entered the url in the readme but it brought me to the ubisoft heroes main page.
Edit: The readme lied. I followed the links in the OP.

A few questions regarding the stresstest beta players.
~ Do we get a new beta key or should we use the old one from private beta.
~ If we could not play te private beta because an error aqcuired, can we still play the public beta.
~ In the manual I read that I have to re enter the beta key when on Uplay. Where should I enter this key. Because Uplay is still unavailible to me. Or so it says.

Use the same one. But I didn't have to enter the key at all. Just go to mmh6.com/beta and you should be able to download right away.

Depends on what the error was. The best way to find out would be to install the game and try.

I think it was unavailable to me too, but you can still try the game. I didn't enter the key at all this time.

Looking back at my predictions it seems like Merphys law came true, at least by the appearence of the official forum (and here).

By the way, that gave me an idea for a creature ability:
Psychic
The creature has an X% chance to anticipate the attack and avoid it. If the attack is avoided the creature is dealt no damage, but it also does not retaliate.
Kinda corporeal with a twist. (sorry for the long post).

Could someone please help me? All of a sudden, instead of my username, accumulated XP and rank, all I can now see is "Label Label Label", and whenever I would try to start a campaign, the game freezes and quits. Is there a solution?

Try again? 
It is possible that the server was reset or something, not the first time my stats were reset. Or your saves did not synchronize. As for single player it's crashed a few times when I try to access it but it gets fixed by its own.

Now that You mention it, my saves failed to synchronize each and every time. I tried again a couple of times, and the farthest I got before a crash was the campaign selection screen. Got any idea where saves are stored? I'd much rather lose them instead of the opportunity to try out the campaign.
EDIT: Never mind, got it sorted out in the end, thanks for the inspiration, Elvin.  For all those who find themselves in a similar situation, just get some exp from somewhere in multiplayer mode, while being connected to the Conflux, that seems to help.

So, what do You suggest? That if I find a solution of sorts to a little, but annoying problem, I should keep it to myself? Isn't that just a tad selfish? I just wanted to help, but if it annoys You, I can edit my post.

It's hard to keep track of all those little things, there isn't always a definite solution to just make them go away.
PS I have been taking a look on my created heroes to compare formulas and spell damage. Some things are definitely a bit off, firebolt does more damage than implosion 
Edit:
Nope, just saying that it is not very easy for me to help since most of those issues just happen randomly and not to everyone either. It's a lottery and the prize is your DOOM!

So, after playing some days I have one puestion: where are we actually supposed to report all the bugs? Really, I haven't participated in any betas yet (except privat but that 2 days doesn't count for me) but there are really lots of bugs.

Oh, ok. I'm just asking because after downloading private there was a page were pone could report bugs and I don't have the link anymore, so that's gone?

I would just like this confirmed: the only way to get into the beta test in the use is to buy a digital version from ubisoft. ??

Doesn't mention USA, I read the master post. I find it hard to believe that they would exclude the USA, we are slightly bigger than the EU, and where HoMM originally comes from.
