My last question on Gating is still unanswered but here's another one, in the 4th mission from Sanctuary's campaign there is this Demon leader Nebiros, so I got into a battle with him and at some point he had 35 Juggernauts, he then gated 22 Juggernauts?!! So the gated creatures were about 63% of the original stack! How is this possible?

Not much exp. with gating but if it works similar to Reinforcements then it gets stronger w/ each tier.. and also it doesn't work as a %, I think it's a set amount of hp or something. For instance, when I had high level Reinforcement skill I had a small stack of vestals (14 or something) and then used reinforcements and it gave me like 42 more.. i realize 42 is 3x 14 but I don't think they would use such a crazy-high coefficient if they are going by %

Yes you are right, I checked out the manual and the amount of summoned creatures is measured in % health of the total Army Health at the start of the combat.

Ok so let me know if i got this correctly.

When starting a skirmish map my hero options are limited to 1 might hero and 1 magic hero ? And only the the starting hero can gain tear/blood reputation ?

So basically if i want to play might haven i have to use karloff whose specialization is dig master :/

If that's true that is a no buy for me.

Sadly this is true if you play offline. I have made a thread to check with the devs since I do not know if it was an oversight or intended, especially since every other hero is available in the tavern..

Also I can not find option to disable it in map editor.
That would mean that secondary hero not being able to gain reputation will stay... for a while. Funny because it could be easily enable/disabled.

The same thing goes for main hand slot. Currently there are not "regular" main had weapons. It means that if you disable dynasty bonuses you main hand slot will be empty. Stupid.


There also should be possibility to take any tavern hero and edit it for normal game. For human player and AI.

Being restricted to chose from 1 Might and 1 Magic Hero kinda sucks Especially in that situation with the Heaven master digger I don't mind not being able to use dynasty weapons when playing offline but it would be nice to have more heroes to chose from or alternatively to be able to select the one who can level up in Blood/Tears path. Currently it looks like we get punished for playing the game offline and we get punished hard.

Soo if you're connected to conflux can you select custom heroes as main heroes when playing a skirmish ? Or are those only available for playing a multiplayer session.

You can make your own hero, and then use it whatever game you like to.
If you are going to play against human in hotseat mode (two players sitting close to one computer) you must create hero also for that human opponent or choose existing one from your "dynasty".

You can choose only from heroes you created.
Heroes created are in "dynasty" tab.


If You choose to make for eg. Stronghold hero. You will always start a map with Stronghold as faction if you play with this hero. In other words, Your hero is "glued" to faction.

However you can hire in tavern ( during a game ) other faction heroes, but heroes hired in tavern do not gain reputation points. At least currently they do not.

new qn, how to c if a stack is hitting multiple tiles. when i play some time it happen. how does the mechanism work?

Edit watz is the snatch ability of the snatching glove?

right click say u can now use the snatch abilty athe manual say Grants the Pathfinder ability

so which is correct?

Both, I believe the snatch ability is a sub ability in the pathfinder 'line'.

i look thru the diff lv of dybasty, currently at silver, i buy the 2 new trait slow, gold and plat doesnt have the other 2. so where to where get them?
